Well in one short video they showed him at MSU training camp and he kept repeating "ball security." Arth must have forgotten that with DJ. Stark, MS, seemed like a hellscape. The AD announced that JM didn't fit their culture. Next guy they hired isn't doing well.

Search Joe Moorhead on YouTube and there are some awesome videos. In an interview today he spoke about being in the booth because of his recent health scare. Mentions briefly his MAC Championship game. There's another video in which he's described as a genius. He said his priorities are: 1. Personal and Family. 2. Professional 3. Monetary. Said he grew up poor and he's doing fine. Also, the "drag my Yankee ass out of here" interview is intense. You can tell he hated it there at MSU.

Maybe Oscar Rodriguez. Players...I have no idea.

He needs to redeem himself against Utah. Huge game for him.

$$$ isn't everything. He likely got a huge buyout from Mississippi State. He's from this part of the country. He was an asst at Akron. Just because Akron football has had crappy teams doesn't mean this is a bad job. Probably a lot more job security here than at some bigger institution.

Another nice person but bad coach. The women's game is an absolutely different animal than men's, including playing with a smaller basketball. It's a lot more physical, so I wonder if there are always more turnovers in the women's game. that being said, the Zips women were incredibly careless with their possessions. Detroit was outrebounding them and on one play of the Akron players reached up, had the ball in her hands, and let it fall to the floor.

Detroit! Forced 22 turnovers. Titans would rip the ball right out of their hands.

If you search Joe Moorhead on Twitter, there are a number of tweets about him and Akron. Often the comments give you better information about Moorhead and what he will do. Some tweets are ignorant. One guy wrote...why would Moorhead go to Akron instead of Louisiana Lafayette or Louisiana Tech? Uh...maybe because he was run out of Mississippi after he referred to himself as a "Yankee" during a press conference.

Nothing good (see Maishe Dailey) has come out of Iowa since The Music Man.

Moorhead had trouble with the Mississippi football culture (according to wiki).. ND may not be the deep South but it's in its own football universe. Akron would be low on pressure.

In general this is how someone's reputation easily gets destroyed in online media. Sports punditry is like political punditry. Although, I think sports pundits are likely more reliable.

My nephew's girlfriend's brother goes to Mount Union. He apparently saw a Thomas Limousine come on campus and pick up Geoff Dartt and his wife. They were headed North on I-77.
