I'm going to disagree with you on that point. Groce's teams are very fit and are built to run the floor. That's not why they are missing wide open 3s. Talent level, confidence, and attitude.

All those MAC teams got knocked out in 2nd round of soccer (not counting WVU). Think of it this way, they didn't have to bus, house, and feed them in KY. Money saved.

effing dejavu with Aziz. I could coach the other teams and tell them the bare minimum they need to do to beat Akron. There was a time when I enjoyed looking at the MAC stats and see the Zips leading in FT shooting and 3 point % and close in other categories. Going the same route as yesterday's game. Agree. Couple that with soccer and football issues, it's difficult not to be all "doomsday" about this. That $30 will be known as my "regret" money and a lesson learned. That is an excellent point about the leadership. I do wonder what having zero competition did to this team over the past few weeks. I watched the first few minutes and saw Casteneda getting pressured and dribbling all over the floor as if he was surprised someone was effectively guarding him.

I can name a few. Zips v Bulls in Q-Finals of MAC tourney in Groce's first year. I think in Groce's second year they had an awful (get up and walk out) game v the Kittens and SaulBall...reminds me more of that game.
