Looking forward to seeing a classic Zips performance Saturday, something to build on going into tourney time, and a classy way to honor the seniors, like ME87 said. Hey, saw a young man tonight from Revere HS in their Regional semi-final, Sandor Jacob. Wow! Two goals and an assist. Anyone know anything about him going anywhere to play College Ball, or if he’s in any academies?

They also have one helluva cross country program, both men and women, probably the best in OHio D3/NAIA and can compete with the Bigs as well.

Childers runs nuts over the Zips D, scores twice, gains 150+ yards. Zips lose due to fatigue setting in in the second half by the D, due to them being on the field over 2/3rd of the game until then. We continue to see Van for 80%of the game, and White and Sands will each get two carries. One of NIUs TDs is set up by a horrendously bad call by the officiating crew, and the Board will continue to call for a coaching change at OC and probably HC. I, like kreed, have been wrong a lot this year. Announced attendance will be 17,500, plus or minuse 300....

Solid first half....fell behind 1 nil about 15 minutes in but fought back, didn't roll over, and Worthy got another solid goal from the left side. I was worried about playing on the artificial surface, but they are handling it well. In fact it plays to the Zips speed more, to be honest. Maybe score early in the second period....

I agree with zippy5. We beat them up. I feel the same way he does on the running game, but I think Kato will have just enough of a pass protection to keep him in the pocket just long enough that the rest of the team beats him for combined rushing yards. Andre is stepping up, as he said, and Kwads is still nursing an injury, so I like AW here as well. I actually think we may have a special teams TD in it as well (do I get bonus points if we do?)

Zips Women swimming and diving now ranked #22 IN THE NATION!!!
Dual against Buffalo Friday at Ocasek.... It'll take your mind off the MSOC team being in the dumper, and football struggling.....
Forgot to add - believe it or not, Friday's meet is TELEVISED on ESPN3! Way to go Athletic Department to get this on the ESPN schedule!

One of my most influential profs while I was getting my degrees at U of A passed away this week. Dr. Mike d'Amico....Marketing. He, Ken Mast and George Prough were absolute stellar educators and motivators. RIP.

Okay...now you’ve really got to pinch me. Another upset, but not as big, as the WSOC team beats Toledo 1nil on a Sydney Worthy header from a difficult angle thru the keepers legs. 3 straight MAC wins and maybe a tourney berth....1 match to go at Buffalo Thursday afternoon! Wow. Wow wow wow.
