One of the main reasons I chose UA in 2018 was how new and nice most of the campus was. If the union, rec, South/Spicer/Honors, CAS, and even the football stadium weren't built, I probably would not have chosen to go to UA. And I know for sure a lot of my friends had the same reasoning. Post covid I can't even imagine how UA would recover if it didn't have what the landscape for learning brought to campus.

I think Amani Lyles could be a big contributor this season. He didn't transfer after 2 seasons of not really having a big impact, I feel like this year will be his breakout year with such an open rotation

No one gets mad that you can’t pay with a check at sporting events or concerts. It’s just what the venue wants to accept. There is no law that states anywhere has to accept cash, they just have to accept some form of US currency, and that would be credit/debit. Who was paying in cash at games in the first place?

So now football and soccer are playing OSU this year. Schedule them in basketball and we take 2/3 of the matchups for the school year

I know that some people think we could do better than playing Ohio State, but..... With this game being the home opener and played on the Sunday before classes start, this game will be absolutely packed! A win against Ohio State to start the season off would do a lot to boost student attendance throughout the season

Not renewing mine for football this year. Can't make it to the game against Colgate, so that already puts me at 4 games this year. And the Tuesday before Thanksgiving game will probably be a watch from home one for me as well. No point to buy season tickets for 3 games. Being in the Akron section in 2021 when we scored first was electric. We got free tickets as students and were sitting 10 rows up from the field. It really was a cool environment, just a little more exciting than Tuesday Night MACtion
