Hopefully he’ll be a February signee. We’ll see.

Wouldn’t be surprised. I also expect to bring in another WR or two out of the portal. Shocky’s position is still up for grabs. Adams and Golden should split time in the slot, while George and Anderson will split time. Although, I hope Golden and Anderson will spend some time learning the other receiver positions to give themselves more of a chance at PT.

That’s a fair concern. Rivals gave him a 3 star in the portal.

If my memory is correct, Hunter was in the last recruiting class by Muschamp/Robinson and Beamer honored the offer when he took over. Hunter would be a solid pickup as far as talent goes, but he doesn’t have much experience. He had little to no chance of playing at Carolina due to the amount of talent in the defensive backfield now.

I believe the 85 scholarship limit kicks in at the start of the academic school year, but that may have changed. We’ll definitely have a chance to land some talented players. At the current rate, the portal will have between 3,000 to 4,000 players to choose from before the start of the 2023 season.

I agree. And we still need to land another (or two) JUCO/portal CB. That’s not a knock on our newly signed freshmen as I’m high on them, but some veteran experience would help.

That’s probably more accurate. Odd that Zips media would list him at 210. Maybe just a typo.

It wouldn’t be easy, but if he’s an early enrollee it could be done. That’d give him about 8 months to slam down as much protein as he could get his hands on.

Friday is the last day of the early signing period, so they may have just chosen not to sign today.

To my knowledge only a handful of players on this list are still being recruited by the Zips, but I’ll continue to update.
