In all seriousness the Zips should get 3 good tests in this tournament! FIU is 0-3 but stayed with ranked Miami Fl. I would love to win one of these tournaments for once especially since there are no P5 teams but we also need to take it one day at a time. Focus on FIU and beating them. Ofc the 3 games in 3 days is always good prep for Cleveland. Excited to see where this teams ceiling is.

Walsh wanted it more obviously. Wish we could rent Mitchell for a game lmao

Awesome for the womens program! Also education days should become more of a thing. Its a really cool aspect of minor league baseball.

Solid game. We got some minutes of experimentation. Excited to listen to the Cayman Islands this weekend (not watch).

Evan better start the half. The student section wants him😤

Very nice crowd for this game. I love the stressless ones if they stay that way

Groce in his interview after the USM game got talked about how great it is to have Bass and Freeman as the faces of the basketball program and I have to agree. I hope they can build bass a squad for her senior year next year that can make a run!

We have no P5s but a potential gauntlet in mid majors. With SDSU, SM, Bradley, St Bodaventure and a road trip to UNLV ain’t easy. Plus whoever we draw in the Cayman Islands after FIU. There’s a really good drake team, Marshall and Utah State

So basically Akron will gain win #3 but no gains will made in the SOS stats

I’d love to see CSU and YSU because it’d be a fun road games possibilities !

Truth is I don’t think Akron is going to acknowledge until they hear from the NCAA.Nothing Groce and the team can do except for focus on who we have right now

Thanks for listening to me ramble. Enjoy going back to your regularly scheduled programming until January where I bump this thread again. Go zips!

TOLEDO WINS. THE MAC TAKES THE FIRST HALF OF THE SUN BELT CHALLENGE 7-5! FLY THE FLAG

NIU pulls off the win! MAC 6 Sun belt 5. Toledo has a chance to give the MAC the win for the home slate of games in the challenge

Buffalo loses. Ball state wins

I want what he’s smoking 🤣🤣🤣. Sweet 16 would be amazing but a narrow loss in the elite 8 would be an insane season for this team

Eastern Michigan wins too! Happy we got at least one win out of the directional teams lol

Bowling green wins! MAC 3 BG 3

Central Michigan is going to lose to ULM to give the sun belt the lead. Bowling green is winning a tight one with 10 seconds. Would say it’s game but we remember what happened Thursday

Miami OH loses to Texas state. MAC 2 Sun belt 2

Miami gets within 1 and then falls back down 9 lol. Silly silly miami

This Miami Texas state game is perfect example of crappy mid major basketball lmao. Miami had a run to tie but down 7 with 4 minutes left in the first

I also enjoy this type of game because it gives younger players time to develop. I’d love to see the seniors resting around the 10 minute mark in the second. Let tavari and Nate run the offense with Evan Wilson and Lyle’s getting minutes

Idk about you guys but after that zips win im pumped for 11 hours of MACtion today. Miami OH kicks it off at 11 but im most excited to see Toledo and ball state perform

Hope Ali Ali isn’t next
