probably way too much optimism, BUT, some factors this person took into consideration... this person is under the impression Poff is returning and is going to have a monster year, says so in the comments miami lost their starter qb ( we do play them relatively early that could be to our benefit this person is not an ohio or buffalo fan ( apparently buffalo had a huge turnover as did toledo when their coach left we SHOULD BEAT UMASS and KSUCKS so to get this the other conference we would need is CMU... he doesn't have us having any major upsets over the non conferences and the only major upset is miami and im sure if their qb was there he would not have picked us... all i know is that as of right now we are tied for first and i am excited and can't wait til next week to see what we have... at least i can enjoy the next week...

nothing has been said publicly to say otherwise, even joe moe at the mac media said reese won the job... people on here have just heard that his eligibility is in question. some have even heard he didn't take any reps in either scrimmage or for the past couple weeks. first game is a week away so i guess we will find out soon enough

This was written August 24th.... Don't know if he talked to people or is just going off the roster. Maybe I'm wrong about Poff but I don't think so. Guess we will find out soon enough. What is really crazy is how some guys apparently are allowed to go back to college after playing in the preseason but others are not? I guess it depends on the lawsuit that they are apart of. The 16 filed in louisiana are good to go which to me is no shocker !!!

I read a pretty good article about him talking about how he was literally on his way to Miami U, with his girlfriend believing he was going to be the starter and on the drive there the coach called him and told him that Cam Ward had decided to return instead of entering the draft. That had to suck... Then he goes to North Texas because it was referred to him by Cam Ward because of some connection with one of the coaches and then the freshman stud goes there and beats him out. I don't think you can claim medical just because you didn't play. But in none of the articles that I read did it ever mention anything about any injuries basically they were all more of just unfortunate circumstances. If he doesn't get another year then he really got screwed out of a college career. I didn't see anything about a medical redshirt at North Texas just that he was beat out...

I hope he gets the medical. From what I have been told it does not look good for the appeal and they have been working on it. I was also told he did not take any reps in either scrimmage to prepare for the worst. I hope it is him can't beat his experience, I'm just going off of what I was told and thats why I am predicting it will be CB.... I do hope I am wrong.
