we might not win another game which is crazy to say. how many times have we said, this was a winnable game? i actually think with a different staff this would have been a different season. this team is extremely undisciplined and the coaching decisions, clock management are horrific. miami is not good at all. but zips are worse and it is not because of the players

I thought the crowd for Eastern was much larger than UNLV. I know it was homecoming and the weather was great, was that a normal homecoming crowd? I was wondering if it was larger than the RMU crowd

Personally, I went into the UNLV game believing we had a chance to win, I was WAY WRONG obviously..! it was just overzealous optimism. I did feel good about he RMU game but I actually felt good about the Eastern Michigan game also. I went into it believing that the Zips had a chance and after the first drive down the field and the score I REALLY felt they had a chance. I felt they had a chance and was excited right up to the missed field goal. Now here I sit yet again, overly optimistic about the next two weeks... Miami is beatable, playing a backup qb, that went 6-20 for 95 yards in passing and had 54 yards rushing against UMASS and 29 yards of that came on one run. (Cat is the expert, I was just checking it out) But I'm at least optimistic going into it AND then we have KSUCKS right after that. One game at a time, but who knows what can happen.. I was excited to travel to Wake Forest and watch them play there, by the way Wake's ONLY loss is to Miami by 7 and I was excited to travel to Minnesota to watch that game as well and I think going into those games they were exciting for the players as well and a lot of the players saw the games as an opportunity to showcase their talents... I would like to see the Zips keep those larger school games and get paid for them, it would be nice to have a Rutgers from this year on the schedule or team they could have beat but you can't have everything I guess. I am really rooting for the Zips to win five of the last six. Do I think it will happen? Probably not, but I can hope for it..

Yes they did. I completely got fooled. I should have known better. I was there a few years ago and was not impressed. Watched the two teams fight because one player from the opposing team took a WL players towel and ran off the field with it to his sideline and wouldn't give it back.

Johnson did come back.... He was in on the big 3rd and 1 late in the fourth. Him and Kavals tackled the rb. Johnson filled the gap and hit him low and kavals hit him and finished him off... He was not out long. I was actually worried because they were looking at his bicep more so than his shoulder but he didn't miss much.

agreed about the blocked punt. emu called it at the right time and surely caught zips by surprise. i've seen enough to see teams just go through the motions on both sides of the ball and they caught akron sleeping. it should never happen. But it did....

the game was very entertaining but extremely frustrating yet again because it was another "winnable" game. stupid penalties, secondary looks lost at times and corners cant tackle at all. but despite all of that it came down to a wide left field goal. this loss of course is not on the kicker. too many other things to blame it on, but it would have been nice to steal one away. that was the number one team in the MAC AND THE zips had it right there for the taking
