Could apply at Akron as well. As good a Toledo has been historically and as bad as Akron has been, Toledo is only 13-10 against Akron all-time. They are, unfortunately, 7-2 all-time at home. Rockets 28-14.

Double elimination time within about 10 minutes of each other. Lacrosse eliminated by Michigan 18-6 about 10 minutes after softball went down 5-4 to Ball State in the MAC tournament. Excellent seasons for both.

Ugh getting hammered 8-1. Switching to the tied softball game and check in later.

Game being played at the same field at Northwestern that the Zips soccer team got jobbed and had to play there when they had a scheduled home game in the NCAA tournament. Only good thing is their logo is worse than Akron's and it looks like a Z from the side.

Zips are still alive as one of the final four teams in the MAC tournament after beating NIU 6-4. It gets a lot tougher from here on out. Side note Alexis Campbell has had an excellent tournament but it's even more fun watching her get ready to bat. She talks to herself, makes faces and sings to her walk up music. It all seems to be working. 😁

Softball team has grabbed the #5 seed in the MAC tournament. Congrats to them. 🥎
