I'd never read the Zips soccer media guide but there is a lot of interesting stuff in it like in 1961- Defeated defending NCAA Champion St. Louis, 3-2, at the Rubber Bowl in front of 10,000 spectators as part of the Acme-Zip spectacular. That season five of 11 All-Ohio selections were from Akron. So I guess our Jackson field record crowds this year aren't as impressive as I thought.

It does look like a very nice facility, looks to have started around the same time as Infocision. I could see something like that working as a partnership with the city and University.
