  1. If Miami beats OU and we beat Miami and lose to OU even if we beat Kent then we don't have a lock on the division. OU could still tie us and win the division based on head-to-head matchup.
  2. Cool thing is we don 't really have to root for one over the other like in other years where we absolutely needed a team to lose. But while two losses for the Bobkittens would nice especially since they still have Toledo. I'd still be OK with giving Miami three losses. We have to play them there and they finish with EMU and Ball St.
  3. Overall record is 1st criteria
  4. Actually I was off on two counts I was using the men's soccer media guide and it does show those games were played in Kalamazoo but perhaps the MAC regular-season champ didn't host back then? And I also really overlooked the fact that the Zips did not win the MAC regular-season title in Caleb Porter's first year in 2006 so that was the last time the Zips didn't host not 2004. That's what I get for trying to do it on my phone ?
  5. Last time the Zips were not the regular-season Mac Champs was in 2004. WMU was the regular-season champion that year as the Zips also lost a 1-0 game to them (but beat them 6 to 1 in the championship game at Kalamazoo we can only hope history repeats itself). Zips could still win the MAC but we'll have to beat NIU and have WMU lose and tie at best against SIU tomorrow and BGSU next week. If WMU beats SIU tomorrow the regular-season championship goes to WMU no matter what.
  6. Zips currently projected to be in the Bahamas Bowl according to ESPN. I'd take that. http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/21110727/week-8-college-football-bowl-projections-2017
  7. Still appreciate the effort. Tough to write those
  8. Miami took out Buffalo so the Zips Ohio and Miami are the only teams that can win the East without help now. Miami's fate will pretty much be decided in the next two weeks as they face Ohio and Akron. There is no reason these Zips should not win this division.
  9. I've been watching Zips football for too many years like this. I think maybe those commercials advising me to call the addiction Network might be good timing ?
  10. crap. Monster reversal and no points after starting on their own one.
  11. I'm just starting to get the feeling you are not a Bowden fan. ? Is it because so far our best plays have been Toledo penalties?
  12. Ugh 84-0 would not be a good look :-(
  13. Toledo is significantly better than the Zips. Thank goodness we play in the east
  14. Don't scare me like that. From your title I assumed that meant three players had been suspended or injured and I opened the article to see the names of Gilbert Woodson and Brown.
  15. Already sort of were - Troy. The East is certainly winnable this year. BTW I wonder when the last time we finished with a winning record against the West was?
  16. Why are we only rushing 3 and putting zero pressure on him?
  17. I so hope that is not a euphemism ?
  18. The defense has absolutely done their job today. Come on offense what are you made of?
  19. I got a bad feeling about this
  20. I am a little surprised that Western Michigan didn't didn't go for two on that touchdown. They are still going to need a touchdown either way if they kicked it or missed the 2-point conversion. If they made the 2-point theyd only need a field goal
  21. That turnover at the end of the end of the field was huge. And not in a good way
  22. For a guy who ran for over 280 yards against us last year they're doing a pretty good job keeping Franklin bottled up
  23. Great defensive stand again. I've lost the sound on my feed
  24. If you have 40 yards in penalties in a few plays shouldn't you be coming out of the game?
  25. I think there is an outside chance that K92 passed out out of excitement
