  1. Without Tree we might was well forfeit. So of course he takes Tree out! If we can get this down to single digits at the half it is not over. No one shoots 90% for an entire game. And Buffalo has been taking horrible shots, and they just keep dropping in.
  2. I wish it wasn't working. The NIU feed was very very good.
  3. Actually, we dropped to 71/72 since the last win. That is the big problem, the SOS is too weak and even winning does not help.
  4. You are correct. I was thinking in the opposite direction. If we run the table and lose the championship game by one point in triple OT we get the NIT and not the dance.
  5. The problem is, that assumes the Zips win the MAC tournament. Nothing else we do affects that prediction.
  6. Worst performance ever in NCAA hoops in the shot clock era. Our RPI will probably plummet! Four points is tied with the lowest half ever in college basketball.
  7. I go with the Flashes to give us undisputed first place in the MAC.
  8. Our RPI is now in the 60's, and that is not counting Toledo. If we keep this up, we could be on the bubble for an at large.
  9. There is an Android device you can buy from China (ebay) Called the Rikomagic MK802 IIIs (must get the S model), that costs around $68 and hooks to the TV over HDMI and works great for internet on TV. It is an Android 4.1 device. Currently watching the game over ESPN3 on boat browser on the Sony LED.
  10. I hook an Android tablet to the TV over HDMI. The Akron feed is not great, but some of the schools have pretty good video equip. Watching on TV is better than staring at the PC screen 13 inches in front of your face.
  11. Right now, everyone plays in the shadow of Zeke. Literally! Next year, Tree will play 30+ minutes a game. Pat F probably more! CG will be gone, along with BW. They are seniors, and it is their time to step up. CG certainly did that against K E N T. Zeke should get a shot at MAC MVP. We would not win half our games without him. But Tree is the future. With Zeke gone, he will be our other big guy, and the way he is progressing he will be unstoppable as a senior.
  12. If I am understanding it, that is just based on the MAC leader. Which we are along with OU. But of course one game can change that. So it is basically wishful thinking right now.
  13. The first half was totally frustrating with us allowing them to keep getting their offensive boards and take shot after shot. With Tree and Zeke on the floor that really should not happen.
  14. Thanks Dave. Those are impressive numbers and could tip the scales if we are on the cusp of getting an at large. When the Zips are on TV on ESPN they seem to take great notice of Zeke.
  15. No, it was my DVR. What a bunch of clowns. It was broadcast in HD. I think I figured it out. On the ends and up above the walls and supports were painted in a lavender or mauve color. All the reflections as seen on TV picked up that color. It was beyond annoying, to the point of almost appreciating the Mac-sports broadcast from the JAR, hum and all. That foul a the end on Zeke was BS. He could have been seriously hurt. If there is some mechanism to give that player a suspension for that conduct they should use it. Seen on TV, he just grabbed his arm and hung on, pulling him to the deck. Too bad he didn't try that on Tree. #1 might have stuffed him into the basket along with the ball.
  16. You sat next to a seven foot tall guy and didn't know he played hoops? Seriously Don't forget to feed the guide dog. (As an aside, I once had a guy show up for jury duty who was huge, very close to seven feet. My first question was "Where did you play"? The answer was St. Johns. He was not very good and got hurt and was never a star. But anyone that big has to have played someplace. You can not teach size).
  17. On TV there were a couple of areas of light reflection on the Court, which is why I asked about windows. Both areas were pink/lavender. As were the shirts of both coaches, and the lower portions of the Can't warm up jackets. And the numbers on the Zips jerseys. It was just a little strange looking. Maybe it was the arena lighting, the camera may have had the white balance improperly calibrated.
  18. My scenario is this: Lets say we almost run the table, maybe lose only two more games. Then lose the championship game at the tournament. Does winning out almost every game get us up into the Top 50 and possibly get us at large consideration?
  19. In your scenario I think we make top 50 in RPI. But no Top 25 votes. It just isn't there.
  20. I get to ask one video question per thread. What was up with the pink/lavender colors? I recorded it and play it back on a different TV, same thing. Do they have rose colored skylights in there or something? Disclaimer: The last time I was in that arena was around 1968 when I saw Blood Sweat and Tears. May not even be the same building for all I know.
  21. Tree played like a madman today! Awesome game. And Zeke is THE MAN.
  22. I was pretty much thinking the same thing. I thought we are supposed to go with the hot hand?
  23. HUMMMM Maybe our guys would play better if they didn't have to listen to the darn hum on the internet feed. Must be driving them crazy and altering their shots.
  24. That is the second time that winning has dropped us. I guess we have to lose to go up?
  25. +10000000000000
