That got a lot of notice. If we have a great OOC season, which looks possible, win the MAC, and then lose at the buzzer to OU in Cleveland, there is a small chance we also get a bid. In past years I never though this possible, this year it could happen. We do have the guns, and would have won one and maybe both games with Tree and Harney.

And we took them to OverTime. Opportunities lost.

More Tree More Tree He is some weapon around the hoop. PF and Justice are raw material and will take time to develop. McAdams will contribute in the future, still young and inexperienced at this point. Kretzer has been an amazing surprise and needs to be in the lineup as long as he keeps draining those threes. He has some touch for a guy that is 6'7" Those two losses were really heartbreaking. This team looked to have so much potential. But now we seem to have it together. I think that: Zeke AA Tree Walsh Gilliam Kretzer Could play for ANY team in Div 1, with Zeke and Tree starting just about anyplace. And Kretzer will probably have a shot at MAC rookie of the year. We are in a good place right now.

Does not matter. A MAC team clobbered a Big Ten team. Not beat. Destroyed. Along with the total destruction of UNC the other day. In my opinion, we are very very good.

They are still a Big Ten team, which has a lot better recruiting record than the MAC. And two blowouts in a row. And we could have, would have, should have won that first game. Just Tree would have done it, one more rebound, one more point in regulation.

This team can play with anyone and should get to the Dance and win a game or two.

And with Tree and Harney we would have won this tournament. Thanks for nothing NCAA.

I have to agree with you, at least about Thursday.

Simple. Thursday we were missing Harney and Tree. Tree especially, because he makes those perimeter shots a higher percentage, in the sense that he gets us second chances on misses. 18 straight missed FG attempts. But Tree gets us back probably 5 or 6 of those, and maybe we get a couple of put backs. And that was the margin. Today we had our Razzle Dazzle back. This was the TRUE Zips team. And yes, some guys had an off day yesterday. It happens. We still took a quality Major to OT. Without Razzle and Dazzle.

Can someone explain how the brackets work? If we play at 1:30 Sunday, that is the 5th place game. Why would we be playing for 5th and not 3rd? Would we not be one of two teams with only one tourney loss, therefore playing for third? Or did the poster who stated that we play at 1:30 misread the brackets? Would not third place the the team that lost only one game? Or does losing in the first round automatically bump you into the 5th or 7th place round?
