For those of you that are new to the board, there was a poster called Akron Obsessed. That was on the original board.We all thought she was Lee Owens' wife. I guess it is still AO, but now it is Ashland obsessed.

Unfortunately the only way we get his is if the big schools pass on him because of grades. Then he will probably end up like a very high percentage of our last 2 classes. Never playing a down for the Zips. Sorry to be negative, but there is a trend here.

Part of that is we have 3 down-lineman. We aren't blitzing the lb's or the safeties.When you play this defense, you need to blitz a little more. What ever the staff is doing, is obviously working.

The offensive line makes me really nervous. What is with Crouch? He seems to be regressing from when he got here.They play undisciplined and slow. A lot of improvement needs to be made for the Zips to repeat as MAC champs.

I am as happy as anyone that we beat NCSU. However, they are really a lower tier ACC school. It's not not like we blew them out. This was not FSU. We should enjoy the win, but not get too far ahead of ourselves.

He does get jacked up. I remember back in the late80's/early 90's, one of our kickers, I think Dennis Heckman, made a 50 yard field goal when time ran out to beat YSU. I thought he was going to jump through the radio. He does get very high when things are going well, but also very low when things are bad. He has a hard time keeping an even keel. Which to me shows he is a fan, but as an announcer, that isn't always the best thing.

Go to the NCSU site. They are all whining and moaning like a bunch of babies.

All teams have letdowns. It's the nature of sports. Althought he coach can motivate his players, it is actually the players themselves that need to be ready to play.

I bet that if Akron had as many fans as OSU and a few of them were total a-holes, certain posters on here would be saying "the few don't speak for the many", "everyone has idiot fans", etc, etc.All of you guys praising PSU fans, wouldn't be doing that if you were at the PSU-OSU game last year. However, I know that contingent doesn't speak for the entire PSU nation.I know, I know, your professor said UA has a few better majors than OSU. Therefor, OSU sucks, bla, bla, bla...
