I agree the line sucks, but I also think a lot of posters here feel Frye is better than he is.I think he is an average QB. Nothing more, nothing less. His arm is limited, and he can't throw a good deep ball.

I think there are some problems too. However, I am not giving up on JD over this. He is still fairly new here, and needs to learn some more. I still feel he will be a very good coach here. I have been complaining about the amount of players that we lose for a while now. I won't keep mentioning it, because I got yelled at last time. However, it is an issue. Each team is allowed 85 scholarship players. I don't even know if we have 85 players on our roster, including walkons. I know for sure that we aren't even close to the 85 scholly limit. Being a fan of 2 different teams, gives me an opportunity to compare certain things. All teams have there share of transfers. However, Akron has many more guys than others that just plain quit. It is a little strange. However, I will always be an Akron fan. I will keep looking a tthe glass 1/2 full until it isn't. If we get blown out by Miami, I may think a little differently.

Luke is a senior and he is JD's guy. I don't think CJ should replace him, although I would like to see it. I would like to see CJ get a few series every game. He needs to get broken in and get some real game experience.Luke was bailed out a lot last year. This year he is showing his true ability, or lack thereof.

Excuses are for losers. We don't have good attendance because we still aren't a very good football team. We need to win, win, win, and win some more. Barely winning the MACC and then losing in a bowl game doesn't count as winning to some "fans".We need a 9-10 win season, along with a bowl game victory. Then start the next season 2-0, 3-0, then we will start seeing the band wagon fill up.Until then, we are dreaming. The only fault for attendance lies with the teams performance. Not finances, or OSU.

Our team is a mess. We need to pcik it up now to salvage a "decent" season.

We need to see some Carlton Jackson. He can't be worse than Getsy. He needs to get some real game playing time to be ready for next year. Getsy has regressed.

This is not a very good team. it is amazing that with so many returning players from last year that we are a much worse team than last year. This is related to player development. I don't see any.

Come on guys. I know we have our fair share of band wagon fans, but don't come on here and admit it.

I guy, doesn't account for an entire offense. He still needs guys to block and catch for him. If he was the difference in the game, just what positions did he play on defense?Is he also the reason our O-line is bad? Is he also the reason Getsy has a weak arm? Is he also the reason the entire Akron team seemed like they didn't want to be at the game?

I think that is part of the coaches job too. We need to be ready on Saturday or it will be a blowout.

Not every coach wins a NC in their second year like Stoops and Tressel.He needs at least 4 years to start to assemble a good team. Once we see a team full of his recruits then we will get a better read on him.

Let's see what Bates or Schepp can do over Crouch.
