But I am sure everyone else's class is complete and listed. Right? I know we won a bowl game with a lot of transfers on the roster. If you haven't noticed, we still haven't won the MAC. Toledo is at or near the top yearly. N. Illinois is near the top most years and there are others. We were in a bowl game once and right back to under 500 the next year. Our facilities are second to none in the MAC. There is no excuse not to get top 2-3 classes in the MAC every year. I am on another board with a very well known recruiting analysis and I asked him about Akron. He said "Akron is the best job in the MAC" He mentioned facilities, stadium, recruiting area, etc. Yet here we are. It doesn't matter if we get local recruits if the top level local recruits are going elsewhere. I know that rankings aren't the end all be all, but if you haven't noticed, the teams that have the highest average rating are usually the highest rated teams too. Are there misses each way?, Yes, But by far you can take it to the bank That a class of mostly 3* will end up better than a class with mostly 2*. There are always outliers but not a lot.

Guys are missed in every sport and every year. Look at all of the high draft picks that come from smaller schools in the NFL. The big boys missed them Dak Prescott was a 4th round pick. He was behind Kessler. LOL. Colleges miss on guys and the pros miss on guys. There are/were quite a few NBA all stars that were 2nd round picks. There are quite a few college players that were high picks that weren't recruited by the big boys. Do you think Khali Mack would have chosen Buffalo if all of the big boys knew how good he would end up? Would Rothlisberger have chosen Miami? The list is endless. Everyone develops at their own pace. Some are early, the 5* guys that can't get off the bench, and some are later, the 2* guys that become All Americans and future pros. Not every NBA player comes from Kentucky, Duke, NC or Indiana. Not every NFL player comes from Bama.

That makes more sense. Like I said, usually if they decommit they already have a school in mind. Still, since he hasn't chosen another school it is possible that Bowden pulled the offer. Not likely, but possible. I would think that anyone Toledo would want UA would also.

So he decommitted and is sending out his hudl video? Perhaps Bowden backed off. Most guys will not decommit unless they have somewhere else to go or are told to look around. This sounds kind of odd to me.

Disagree and agree on this one. If he was great he would be gone. Anything less than that and he is too old for another school to commit to him. He is the type that is good enough to keep his job at Akron but not good enough for a larger school to want him. I really thought he would recruit better than he has. Just because guys are local doesn't mean they are good.

Make it an 8 team playoff all conf champs are in and then you have the wild cards. There will still be bitching but to leave out a conference champ is ridiculous.

Agreed. Big mistake. If he is drafted it will be 6-7 round at best. Most likely an UDFA.

Not everyone that is listed with an offer really had an offer. Some were offered camp invites and some were offered official visits. An offer means you were offered a full ride scholly by the coaching staff. I know for a fact one offer on the list above is wrong. Still looking forward to these guys. Hopefully Woody is healthy and the WR group remains a strength.

Mistake but not unexpected. He looked kind of disinterested a lot when Woody was hurt.
