    I would love to see Jackson. However, I would hate to burn s redshirt now. Give him this year to learn the system, the off season, and spring ball to work on his game. Then I would like to see him start out as the QB next year.

    The horseshoe was just redone a few years back. It is a beautiful place for football. Don't use the Horseshoe, and the outhouse bowl in the same sentence.

    Carlton Jackson is the real deal. I hope he starts next year. He will have a year in the system, and will be ready to go.

    You are absolutely correct. Frye wasn't the starter until Sparks got hurt. If Sparks never git hurt, Frye may have been the backup for 3 years.

    I see Marshal is not on the roster now. Is he gone officially, or what? It seems he comes, and goes. Does anyone know the story of this guy?

    I agree. We didn't expect a great season this year. We won 2 in a row, but now lose one, and everyone is turning on the team. Remember, although Getsy is a junior, he is pretty inexperienced. The o-line is young. I think you will start seeing big improvement as the year goes on.

    Appalatian State, and Vanderbilt are our competition. Kirk Ferencz, at Iowa, has a knack of getting tight ends, converting them to o-lineman, and sending them to the NFL. Some guys are just too big when they arrive, and never really get the agility to succeed.

    Reid is looking noticeable better. LeFall had that, I look good as a freshman, but never got better thing going. Too bad Wilkes is gone.

    If Akron, and OSU were ever in the same conference together. I, for one, would root for Akron. I am an Alum of UA. I bet many MAC/OSU fans feel the same way. To me, Akron, and OSU are 2 different levels of football. Right, or wrong, that is the way I currently see it.

    D-line is the ones that need rotated the most. They are getting beat on by 300lb guys every play. Next year we should have more depth on defense. Faust did have some good defenses. But he had no offenses. Clark, and Hilk were absolute stud LB's. Clark would probably have been in the NFL if he didn't screw up.
