The Akron win was the last MAC team to beat OSU. They said it during the Texas game. I guess it didn't matter that UA wasn't in the MAC.

UA has always had a good soccer program. Again the leaking urinal gives them no love. I would love to see them actually win the NCAA tourney...

I hope Frye doesn't play this season other than mop up duty. He needs to practice, and watch for a full season. Being second team he will get a lot of snaps in practice. Let him go in next year as the starter. The o-line will be a little better, and Edwards will have a season under his belt.

This could be a very ugly game very quickly.

Charlie has looked very impressive. I realize it's only preseason, but from what I have read, he looks better than Smith, and Rogers. Let him be the backup this year, learn the system, get experience, and then next year he will be ready. It is exciting to have the local guy looking good. The fans love him too.

37 No inside information. I just feel that if UA improves with the new facilities, and JD, we will out grow the MAC.

So when will the new stadium be built? 6 months ago I was attacked for asking for a source when someone said it is already a done deal. 6 months later, and still no news on anything. You would think if it was a done deal that long ago, it would be public by now.. Add a new stadium to what we have going on now, and we will be the top team in the MAC, and hopefully move to a new conference.

Gonzales is a seniot this year. he won't be back. Hopefully Hight will play next year. That could be a good d-line with Hight, Terry, Robinson, along with the other new recruits. However, they will be first year starters, so it will take some time to be dominant.

Johnson is an idiot. if he would have just stated coming from college was a big jump, that would have been fine. But when he said UA, and the MAC that sucks. I wonder if Frye is giving him grief over that.

The silver lining here is that we didn't expect much out of this year anyway. Now I think a lot of the younger lineman will get some valuable experience. I just hope JD can keep getting recruiting classes like the last one.
