As things look right now, tickets to both games should be easy to get. Chapel Hill is the easy choice since you will be right there. The statium is in the middle of campus with little parking. The best college football setting I have ever seen. Be prepared to walk a lot. UNC fans are a bunch of babies and be prepared to want to punch some of them in the face while you are there, but hold back from doing so. Franklin Street uptown is a cool scene. Lots of hot girls walking around. Wake is a much different atmosphere. Stadium is not on campus but the non parking pass parking is real good across the street at the basketball arena. There are some bars across the street from the BB arena that are good enough if you don't want to tailgate. The BB lot isn't the best place to tailgate. The stadium is about the size if Info so all seats are real good. Games not sold out so you can buy a ticket. Sit on the Wake side on the end near the new scoreboard as the sun is brutal on the visitor's side. Wake fans are Ivy League type people as Wake is a great school. Old money people who never get too excited or too down. They clap politely. Since I have no school loyalty and just want to watch college football, Wake is the choice for me. It is also an hour closer to my house than Chapel Hill. Lots of hot 60 year old women walking around. It all depends on what you want to do. GP1, please define what a hot sixty year old woman looks like. Post pixs if you can. Being sixty-eight myself, I find that women in their forties are the ones I lust for. You are just an old troll pervert. Jane Fonda still looks good. Linda Carter sill looks good, Jacklyn Smith is still outrageously gorgeous I think all if them are aat least 60. Not sure though. I guess what I'm saying is if you are located in Hollywood and have a lot of money and freinds that know people , you may have a very miniscule chance of finding a hot 60 year old Suzanne Somers perhaps? I prefer two 30 year olds. Or three 20 year olds. You forgot the most important thing. They have to be at the same time.

That isn't fair. He was a first season starter in a new system on a terrible team. Only a true experienced star would have real success in that system. If you took a MAC caliber QB and let him play a little as a true freshman and then have him start as a sophomore under a new coaching staff and a new system on a terrible team with little talent, it wouldn't make that much of a difference from where PN7 was at the end of the last season. Anyone young QB would struggle in that scenario. Now, I'm not saying saying he will be a good player. I am pretty much saying we don't have enough evaluation time to decide that yet. If the guy starts out the first 3 games and looks the same as last year I will agree 100% with you. I say the first 3 because I don't think any QB in Zips history will look good in game one with this OL going against that OL. Frey, Weems, or Clayton Moore may have a little success because they can move. However no statue will be able to be successful when they are under constant pressure. With all that being said, if all else is equal, please play Moore. But we weren't a terrible team with little talent. We were an ok team with ok talent, but we had a terrible coach with terrible gameday coaching skills. I believe that Brookhart would have gotten us at least five wins with that roster. I also believe that Ianello, if he allowed for at least a little bit of a transition with mixed formations instead of diving headfirst into his new schemes along with not redshirting numerous talented players at thin positions, could have won at least three games. Nicely isn't as bad as people are making him out to be. But he's not as great as we thought he could be at the beginning of last year. If they're dead even, you play the QB with the higher ceiling, even if he's not there yet. I honestly don't care who Ianello picks, so long as he picks one by saturday. Nicely and Moore's skillsets differ significantly and the players and coaches need to know which one to revolve their play around. The O-line has a very different role for a mobile QB compared to a statue with an arm. You may be correct about it being coaching, but we can't quantify that really. I completely agree with starting Moore unless PN7 looks really good. A moving QB not only changes the o-line, it changes the entire feel of the offense. I moving pocket is much easier to improvise in than a statuesque still pocket.

"The Zips have won one in a row, and Columbus State is on a 13 game losing streak!" ....You da man Frenchy That was great. I laughed when he said that. The truth is the truth though.
-
You got me! You and I have so much in common. It's so masochistic for someone to spend more than 6 years on a Zips forum unsuccessfully trying to beat down tOSU haters, and it's so masochistic for someone else to think they can convince that person to change their pattern of behavior to something more effective. Which one of us will be the first to come to our senses? OK, back to football. Really. Damn you are thick.

Perhaps you didn't hear, the recession ended in 2009. Of course, the stimulus passed and unemployment never went to 8%. In our current political economy team they are using new math. New math says 10 is less than 8. It's really become common knowledge.

You old white-guilt ridden tree hugging hippie Please don't hurt me so much! Wait a second, I have heard that you like pain...

Thanks for posting. It was nice to hear some actual inside information. I still remember French when he was the sidekick of Matt Patrick back in the 80's. Patrick used to call him Fry. It brings back memories of parking in the Exchange parking deck then walking over to the Chuckery through the Shrank Halls to eat and play eukre for the morning instead of going to class..Ahh, the memories. Old timers know exacly what I'm talking about. Then on my way back I would stop at the goofy little mail room and get my junk mail. IIRC French was a student at Can't at that time. Good thing Zips fans don't know that.

I think it's either the SEC recruited hype or the fact that he Moore can't be worse. I don't feel that anyone is saying Moore will be an All American. I just think they are saying PN sucks. It's all about upsides. Personally, I believe that unless PN flat out wins the job that Moore should start. If all else is equal, I want the high ceiling adn athletic guy over the unproven statue.

I have said this before and I will say it again. Buckzip came to be because the OSU boards were around long before the UA board. My first attempt for my name was Zipbuck. It was already taken. True story. I am not someone to add numbers to my logon. Being a lazy person with a bad memory I Decided every site I go to I will use the same name. On the Browns board I am Buckzip, on the Cavs board I am Buckzip. It's just easier for my little mind to remember 1 logon. If anyone should be offended by my name, it should be OSU. After all, I have Zip in full in my name. I only have Buck as the OSU part. Buckeyezip sounds too odd. Sorry to sound harsh as you are a good guy and fair here. But most of this BS has nothing to do with the game. There are more OSU bashing posts at this place than there are OSU/UA football talk. I would love to talk football, that's what I'm here for. To talk UA football. Believe it or not. If I was here for any other reason, I would be starting threads about them. But there is little room between all the BS. As soon as I gave my opinion on matchups, coaching, etc, I would get attacked. Not playing the victim, just being realistic based on experience. This was totally in jest, BuckZip. I went out of my way to indicate that I was just joking around. The theme of my entire post is that we should all accept the circumstances and relax. I wasn't calling you out either. Sorry if you were offended. I get that. I mentioned it in the thread. You are a good guy to me.

+ 1,000,000, 000. However, the things won't change with some people.

Maybe you should learn to deal with it. I've written a lot of things over the years on this board that have driven people crazy and they have attacked me personally. If anyone could cry about abuse it is me, but I don't and never have. I understand this is a public board and people are going to say what they say. My advice...toughen up bitch. ROFLMAO. You are outrageously dim. You lack reading comprehension. I said I don't care, I find it funny. I wonder if a person that is shot and is the victim ever says they don't care. This stuff makes me laugh because the reasoning is so obvious. You totally miss the entire point. You are saying that you get attacked because of posts you make. I never start the BS. You start it constantly. Like my kids say, "you started it" LOL. Let me get this right with your logic. My school and I get attacked when we have done nothing that affects anyone here. No, it doesn't affect UA at all. No matter how much some of the crowd here wants to think. I defend my school. Then someone attacks me. I give it right back. Then someone decides to belittle me and asks me why I am being like that. I answer the question. In your distorted world I am playing the victim. Look I get it. You hate everything that is OSU. You hate the team, the school, the alumni and all students. You hate Jim Tressel because he is a constant non stop cheater in your world. Of course I have asked you for facts and you can't come up with anything other than rumor.. Ok, he had some students sell some trinkets. I'm sure OSU is the only one that has that problem. Tressel lies about knowing about it. No matter what the reason, he lied. He should be and was fired. He made a horrible decision. See, I agree with him being fired. The mindless homer do not. Nearly every current and former player, except the ones that were kicked off the team or in the dog house for making bad decisions, love him to death and say how much he has helped them after football and been a father figure. He gave Dru Humphries mom a NC ring after 2002, because her son was offered and accepted a scholarship from Tressel. The kid died before the year was out. Tressel gave his mom a NC ring even though this guy never stepped on the pracice field. Obviously Tressel is a classless low life that only cares about winning. Terelle Pryor, the leader of what became the demise of Tressel, asked Tressel via text to be at his Pro Day. Tressel changed his plans and made sure to be there. Yep, the former coach was supporting the kid that helped end his career. Tressel had no reason to be there. This didn't help him at all. More lack of class by Tressel. You see GP, most people that know Tressel think he is one of the most genuine, honest, good natured people you will ever meet. I'm not talking about the OSU homers. I am talking other coaches that know him, and other people outside of OSU that know him. He has done so much for charity, under priviledged people and the local community. I don't have an opinion one way or the other on that. I have never met the man. I only know what I see on TV and what others that actualy know him think. I realize that what you think means more than what the thousands that actually know him think, so I will have to respect that. Yeah, Yeah, I know I was fooled by him, just as nearly everyone else besides the self loving GP1...You are outrageously pathetic and small. Yeah, all he cares about is winning. I guess that is why, before he was canned ,he suspended a starting linebacker fcr the season for breaking team rules. He suspended his starting QB a while back the week before the Michigan game. He suspended his starting QB against Texas a few years ago because he broke team rules. Texas won in a close game that there is no doubt OSU would have won if Troy Smith played. You, for whatever personal reason you have, hate the guy and like to call him names. Others tend to follow because they think you actually have a clue. You don't fool me one bit. Look at the 33 page long thread about the OSU issue. I only responed couple times until the end. You were one of the fools that believed everything BSPN and SI reported. Free cars, payments everything. You would have believed the Enquirer as fact if they said Tressel eats puppies and abuses kids. You would have started a new thread about that. Like I said in the thread, I can't wait until most of this is debunked. Which it was. And as I perfectly predicted, you and others came up with all kinds of reasons OSU wasn't punished like they deserved. Trust me, my sources know a whole lot more than you do about the situation. Obviously a coach getting fired, a star player being forced out and 5 others being suspended for nearly half the season wasn't enough punishment for getting free tatoos. You and your minions certainly thought more was needed. Yes, this post is way too long. But after reading your BS for the last couple years and not reponding to most I thought I would get it all out in 1 post. Now go ahead and call me the victim. It's your style when you can't defend yourself. Which is very often. Don't bother responding because I wont read anymore of your mindless petty BS. You are just a very small, pathetic, petty, tiny man that makes himself feel big by belittling others. By the way Dave, don't bother inserting your unasked for BS. I won't read that either.

Repeating what I said in my previous post, another example of trolling is someone who always claims to be a victim who never initiates attacks but only acts in self-defense on a particular subject drops into the middle of an unrelated thread and initiates a deliberately provocative post out of the blue. Are you going to try to claim you don't do that and never have? Yes. I have done that. However, that isn't being a victim. A victim will always be upset and let it bother him. If that were the case I wouid respond to every instance of the issue. However I ignore a huge percentage. I find it intersting that when someone defends themselves and explains why they are doing something they are called victims. I often think that people resort to the victim card because they have no other way to respond. It's felt that if say they are playing the victim, you are just a big whiner who has to deal with it. The victim to me is ther person that is whining and crying over something that isn't there. Are you trying to say this place doesn't have a lot of hate towards OSU? If so, we have nothing more to discuss because you live in an alternative reality than I do. LIke I said to the other guy. Just because you wouldn't defend UA if constantly being attacked, doesn't mean I wouldn't. Loyalty means something to some of us.
-
Poooor you..... As expected. Too obvious and easy. I guess I am more loyal than you are. I guess if you were ever on another board and many kept bashing UA with lies, you would just ignore it every single time. I don't know if disloyalty or loyalty are good or bad in this case. However, since the almighty self loving GP1 says loyalty is bad, I guess I should listen. Thanks for the advice.

To be honest I didn't read your jibberish after the first line. Here's the bottom line. Someone made a negative remark about my school and my friends. Calling a fan base names is calling me names. I responded back because the post hypocricy was strong. I posted the last part because I know how people here are. Trolling is something that is intentionally done to upset a group. I posted to a specific poster. I just knew the gang mentality would form because of all the sensitivity here. Personally OI didn't want anyone other than the poster to respond. However, I knew others would post with an attack on me. You proved me correct. Whether I posted that lst part or not you would have commented on my post that was aimed at somewhere. Trolling would be me starting a thread bragging on my other school. Trolling would be me starting a thread talking about how UA is going to get destroyed. I don't do that and never have. To this day I have never, ever, ever started a thread about my other school. Yet when some jackass here has to start a thread just to bash, I sometimes respond. Usually I just laugh at it, but sometimes I do respond. And of course I get attacked for it. Someone else starts BS I respond and I am the bad guy. No I'm not playing the victim. I could care less that it's done. I am quite used to it. By the way if my other teams board was dissing UA, I would respond in kind to them too. They have 500 times the posters this place has and I have never seen an AKron dig. To be honest I don't read every post or thread, yet I have never seen it. I have never, ever seen a negative post, let alone thread, about UA other than the ones congratulating UA and the game chat for the soccer NC. and the NCAA tourney. Yes, quite a few of those fans were discussing the NCAA tourney when UA was in.. Most of the other schools support UA, other than when they are playing each other. The hatred is not mutual. However, you will always find one poster that makes up BS to bash them. The gut that supposedly has some OSU fans and then basis his entire thought process on OSU on them. Laughable. Good night.

Sounds a lot like the textbook definition of trolling. Actually a troll is more of someone that interjects dumb comments into a conversation they have nothing to do with. Let's just say you were on the board of your team, but you also had another team and a fan was making false claims and being dishonest and accsusing you of doing something or being a certain way.. If I happned to be on the board and commented on your post defending your team when I have nothing to do with what they are talking about but just want to get a dig in. That is trolling Thanks for stopping by.

Done. I'll have it at the first tailgate. Keener, you have to stop over for a taste, just to say you did. OK, twist my arm. But if I don't like it can I give mine to JZ84's wife too? Just stopped by. What are we giving JZ84's wife? I'd like a picture first. Sorry, Buckzip. She only goes blue & gold Well played.

Childish name calling ignored. True class. I am impressed that you went to every site to know who was the first. You must have a lot of free time on your hands. I also find it interesting that you can judge an entire huge fan base off of an internet site. You are awesome. Calling a fan base classless is a little hypocritical coming from the same fan base that has a 33 page thread, as of now, about another schools issues and enjoyed it, By the way Miami is on their schedule this year. So according to ZNO it is perfectly fine to discuss them.. Also, if you are comparing selling trinkets for tatoos to millions of dollars of booster payments, you probably also don't know the difference between a thunder storm and an F5 tornado. You may want someone else to watch the weather for you. I'm done now. The bait has been cast. Now let the mob have their feeding frenzy.

Geez, you guys have a lot of choices. We had McD, Stoddards, a pizza place and Hill topper or whatever the dump upstairs at Gardner was called.
