He won't be allowed to coach for awhile, if ever, because he's now elevated himself to the status of one of the most notorious cheaters and liars of his era.

Here's why this statement is ridiculous. This IS a topic on hiring a new HC. JT is a former Akron coach who is currently out a HC position. If it wasn't for your blind hatred of OSU you wouldn't be near as passionate about arguing against. Second of all don't give me this "oh this is a zips bored we should talk zips stuff." Guess what, I'M TALKING ABOUT HIRING A FORMER ZIPS ASSISTANT! Yeah, cause all those military academies are real ball busters. Yeah, and guess who has experience doing it? Do you really want to compare who Big Ten teams beat VS. the MAC? Again, we're not talking about national championships here. We are talking about getting someone to make us competitive in THE MAC! Because obviously said AD's just showed up, threw their ass's in a car and said "You're with us now" This much we can agree on. Again, if TW had half a brain in his head, this wouldn't be such a stretch. Further more, I can't bring myself to buy into such a firm opinion by someone with such blatantly biased blinders on.

Let me correct you here. This team would have to improve quite a bit to be terrible.

I've seen PN7 win games against D-1A teams. I've seem Moore lose every one he's started.I want a chance to win against K.e.n.t. PN7 is our best chance.The hyperbolic clowns on this site will spin that statement to infer I think Nicely is the second coming of Luke Getsy. But, that's why said people are hyperbolic clowns.Start PN7 against K.e.n.t. And if he wins, Buffalo too (he's beaten both teams in the past). Give me a shot at seeing a win in 2011. Not a 4th quarter field goal to close the gap to -32.Not sure who you are addressing this to, but saying both our QB's are bad is fact. Not hyperbole. PN7 won 1 game last year. The QB is not the biggest problem with this team. Coaching is the biggest problem.

QB's were a combined 7-32...Wow..Even during the final minutes when they were playing prevent we couldn't inflate our passing numbers at all. What a horrible, horrible team we have.

I think that is worthy of a ban. There is a reason that family members shouldn't visit these boards. She bashes the other QB's non stop, but can't take it when her baby is getting the same treatment. Nicely had 2 years and did nothing. Time for new blood.

What a change from a football thread. On the football threads people complain about the lack of attendance. Here, people complain about who the attendees are. The thing that a lot are missing is that this is a social event. When you suck nobody goes to see you. When you are good people come to see you to be seen at the game and turn it into a social event. I am not a big fan of the texters and phone talkers either. Especially when they think you should be quiet so they can hear their phone, but come on guys. Over 5k for a soccer game and people are complaining...Geez.

Seeing how people are constantly picking on Moore, do any of you remember 1st year starters being All Americans at QB? This kid is a sophomore in his first year as a starter. Give him some time to learn and get experience. He is on a terrible team with little talent around him. I'm not saying he is going to be great, but you guys act like is a returning 3 year starter sometimes. Geez.

Honest question that I don't know the answer to. Has there been a coach that has been fired this quickly? I don't include the coaches that had some type of scandal or criminal issue. I mean just over their record and quality of team. I can't think of one.

Does that mean you pass on him as a head coach at this point in time? Or does that mean that, regardless of whatever he accomplishes outside of UA, you would NEVER want to see him back at his alma mater as a HC? I can't say never because I can't predict the future. However, he has only coached D2 and has been mediocre. Sure he has had some decent seasons, but not consistently. If he was a good HC he would have moved up past D2 by now.
