  1. What do college football fans want today? Clean bathrooms
  2. I would not expect Noah to be ready to play until after the season starts. I really think McAdams is ready for a breakout season. As far as the 3 freshmen forwards go, Utomi seems to pass the eyeball test so far. I would expect the depth chart to look like this at the beginning of the season. Until the real practices start it's hard to tell. Forsythe / Johnson Cheatam / JacksonJr Ketzer / Utomi McAdams / Ivey Jackson / Williams Robothom IR, Agba and Olojapoke RS
  3. I wish we had more guys with your passion CK.
  4. Yeah those high mid majors are just beating down the doors to play the Zips at the JAR. And KD refuses to schedule them so he can pad his record, right? Amazing!
  5. I'm sure Balsy would fit right in on the faculty senate.
  6. If you would have bothered reading the ABJ article, you would have learned that was an existing housing fund of $340,000 that is being tapped for the majority of the renovations. The budget for the current renovations is $375,000 so the remaining $35,000 is that needs to be funded out of new money.
  7. Here's another gem of a tweet from one of the ones presented on Cleveland.com. I hope she's not a regular on ZN.o. 8. http://zipsnation.org/forums/topic/33567-tom-wistrcill-resigns-who-will-replace/?p=242176Trust me, I know what I'm talking about .
  9. I'm sure they figure it will be an easy win on the road.
  10. I can't wait to see who they get for Brendan Haywoods expiring contract.
  11. I think we already have a number of players with the same skill set set as Baddley already on the roster. Agba, Utomi, Olajapoke and recent commit Williams all fit the same template ie athletic forward.. I think the Zips are more interested in finding a true center at this point.
  12. KD is not going anywhere.
  13. Well, there was that too.
  14. They offered her a much bigger scholarship than UA.
  15. Thanks for the clarification. My kids are/have taking gen-ed classes thar are required for pretty much any degree. IMO one of the most valuable parts of this program is getting my kid out of the highschool setting and into more challenging environment. My daughter was very comfortable when she left home for Toledo. She already knew what expect in the classroom and only had to adjust to dorm life. Invaluable IMHO.
  16. I'm really thankful my kids don't have you for a teacher because you have no idea what you are talking about. Post Secondary has been replaced by College Credit Plus. CCP consists of students taking classes on campus at the college of their choice. They go to the exact same classes a typical highschool grad is taking to fufill the requirements to get their undergrad degree. They are not some kind of special classes designed for students participating in CCP. I'm sorry it might be cutting into the extra pay your fellow HS teachers might be receiving for teaching AP courses which may or may not be accepted as accredited courses at any state university, unlike CCP courses. Maybe you should consult an administrator at your school to get you up to date on the CCP program.
  17. Sorry, but we already play Toledo,Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan.
  18. For those of you who don't have highschool aged kids, I will tell you that there is a big push to have kids take dual credit courses before graduation. The program is called College Credit Plus. It used to be called post Secondary. I have a daughter who is going to graduate with a BSN in 3 years. When she started college she already had 30 credit hours because she took classes at UA while still in highschool. My son will be taking 30 credit hours at UA this coming school year. The only class he will take at his HS is band. The best part of this program is that it costs me next to nothing. The only thing I have to pay for is a parking permit. This is the way of the future.
  19. As soon as I get home from vacation, I will see if that rumor has legs.
  20. I never saw the guy play hard for more than 1/2 of any game. He may have all the physical skills, but I'm not sure he has the mental makeup and drive to make it in the NBA. Classic D-league player.
  21. Check out @NCCLionsFTBL's Tweet: https://twitter.com/NCCLionsFTBL/status/613441319336345604?s=09
  22. Since the NCAA changed the offseason practice rules a couple of years ago, the Zips have stopped having players participate in the summer leagues. Each player is allowed to have 2 hours per week of supervised workouts by the coaching staff and 6 hours of conditioning. They have practices 2 days per week and the team is divided into 3 groups that practice for 1 hour each. On other days they condition and hold open gyms.
  23. Nate is a great guy and a real Zips sports fan. He has a tough road ahead of him but I am confident he is up to the challenge.
