Josh sprained his ankle and won't be playing tonight.

Larry Scirotto is a good guy and referee. Donnie Eppley and Bill Elk are idiots. The last game that Eppley did for us, 46 fouls were called.

The team really needs the fans to come out Friday night and show their support. KD asked me last night to rally the members of Zipsnation and get them out to the game. I challenge everyone to show up and bring a friend. This game is essentially a battle for the #1 seed at the MAC tourney. If we have a great crowd with lots of energy the team will respond. Go Zips!

They got the purple uniforms to honor Dan Peters and to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer, not to raise money. THERE ARE NO PLANS TO AUCTION THEM OFF.

Saturday was the second time this year they wore the purple uniforms. They also wore them at the Coaches against cancer game at Can't State versus Cleveland St.

No. They plan on wearing them 2-3 times per year for the next few years.

New rules foul up Izzo’s schemes for defense I watch a lot of college basketball and its apparent to me that the new rules for defending are really changing the game. If a defender even lays his hand on a player dribbling the ball while moving towards the basket, the result is a foul. Not only that, but it seems it is perfectly acceptable for the offensive player to use his off hand as an arm bar to give himself more space. Now if the player with the ball has his back to the defender contact is still acceptable. IMHO these changes are turning college basketball into a glorified version of AAU summer/rec league ball.
