Yes Harvey is here along with Mickey Baker, JUCO LB. Dantley Cline, D-Line. and the new place kicker Igor Iveljic. Might i add this kid has a canon for a leg although his trajectory is a little low. Harvey looked good from what i saw the other day while the team had a 7 on 7. He ran some pretty good routes and caught a few tough passes throw his way. My guess is he could be a start midway throught the season if no one else steps up.

I like the idea of getting Butchie Washington here as the QB coach. Even if he doestn turn out to be the greatest of coaches he will be a great recruiter. This could be an idea as well, Moorhead to QB coach and JD to receivers if they didnt want to hire a new coach at this point in time. It wasnt so long ago that JD was turning out receivers like Larry Fitzgerald and Antonio Bryant.

Someone said hakes didnt look that great, and i agree with you 100%. That was actually his first practice of the spring. he passed clearing house the night before. Hixon was wearing a boot on his left foot because he broke it during his last try out. It shouldnt effect his draft status though because he finished that work out and didnt even know it was broken. The bone he broke is the bone on the outside of his foot it is the longer one.(sorry i dont know the actual name of it) he will be ok though. Reid, Kiki, and Nate all sat out because of foot/leg injuries. Nate aggrevated an ankle in practice about a week ago. Kiki always has foot/ankle problems. Reid hurt his leg in a scrimmage a week ago. Once most of our d-line returns and chevin pace comes back, moving mackey back to his normal postion i think the defense will have an even better year than last year. Look for one of the juco transfers to be playing the mike backer this fall. also Groza could see some signifigant time at mike.

the old white jerseys were worn because all of the white jerseys were given out to the players following the motor city bowl game and they are going to have a different look for the white jersey next season. Lindsey had a great game as well as Conham i think he could get some PT this season. McMillon is pretty quick and more a rb than an fb so putting him to fullback wouldnt be that good of a move to me. Oh and by the way if you were wondering why tim zetts was throwing with his right hand one series and his left hand another series is because the left handed thrower was Sean Hakes.

Spring football really hasnt been that exciting. They are practies wouldnt you get sick about reading about a practice all the time. I know i would. They will cover the spring game so all of you need to calm down. Oh and if spring practice was such a big deal you would think the Buchtelite would have written a story about the first two weeks of practice and winter conditioning. But they didnt either. So if the school news paper doesnt do a story on it why would the ABJ?

There is more to progress than just a teams records. Look at Ball State they didnt have that good of a record but they have progressed a lot over the last 2 football seasons and they also got a good recruiting class. so there is more to progress than ones record.

No he means high school JRs, you know the kids that are going to be seniors in high school this coming fall. The ones that could be future recruits. Well any how they looked good, rusty which is expected but good.

That is a great idea to have students create logos. if we have decide to make a change or make an alternate logo they should have a contest type thing.
