  1. Ease up or I'll have Mr. Green Jeans get midevil on your ass!
  2. "The Official Web Site of Caleb Troop?" Damn...I've apparently been wasting my time on a bunch of unofficial Caleb Troop sites for the past several years.
  3. It is from the turn of the century. The original poster sold for $3,000 at an auction a couple years ago (true story).
  4. Any truth to the rumor that Z-P posed for the picture?
  5. I got my Travis Nike "throwback uni" at Porky's today!

  11. Bryan Williams will be 1st team All MAC Defense at year's end. I understand not placing him on the pre-season team since he hasn't played the position yet. But trust me, he will make a huge impact.Kevin Grant will shine due to Bain and Sewell's havoc-wreaking, plus the fact that Grant's pretty good, so he has a great shot at All MAC too.I'm banking on Bowser being a strong candidate for Newcomer of the Year. Alex Allen being 3rd team All MAC.If either Andre Jones (@WR), Andrew Johnson or CJ11 are on any post season All MAC lists, we'll win the MAC East. Will they? Tough to tell in June.
  12. I agree it should be closed. And it is. If the involved members want to carry on via PM's, they're welcome to do so.
  13. If this in any way shape or form involves a walk on basketball player, I quit.

  15. Former Zips fullback inducted into the Wayne County HOF.
  16. Leaving WMU for UDPersonally, I don't see how he could leave the home of Bells Brewing Company, but to each his own.
  17. Small write-up and a Pechuta Feature.Apparently Pechuta will greyshirt?
  18. Here are columns on Robb and Pechuta.Three future Zips in the game should make it worth checking out?
  19. I know for certain it wasn't Kansas State.I was told he left this past semester to be closer to family. And, after experiencing a semester of practice, he didn't see getting too much PT at the D1 level.
  20. He ate the Zips up this winter, now he's transferring to a lower division.
  21. The link didn't work for me. Here's a link to the Seattle paper.
  22. Robbie Davia (walk on QB, 6' 3", 205 lb) and OL Joe Pachuta are on the Ohio North/South roster.Click for a short column.
  23. My feeling is -- He's simply the best we've got. He started a bunch of games last season, so he gets the nod to begin 2008 as the favorite. Rogers is unproven, and really didn't stand out in the spring. I hope Rogers pushes CJ11 hard in the summer. If he's any good, he'll get his chance. Anyone else on the radar? I think it would take an injury to get any of our other QB's (Patterson or the New Philly kid) in the mix.CJ11 is "ok." He throws a decent ball and I'm sure he'll be better in '08 than he was in '07. But does he have that "special something"...that "fight" to be the team's ultimate leader and win a championship? Can he accept a sack rather than make the shovel pass to an LB when pressured? I haven't seen it yet.I'm really hopeful that the new WR's inject some life into the offense, and that helps the QB. Bruce and Bowser can turn 5 yarders into 80 yarders, and Jones looks to be a great deep threat. CL11 didn't have that in 2007.
  24. If you'll notice, there are no kids from Maine or North Dakota on the Zips roster. It is because they are troublemakers. I've know several kids from both states. Grade 1 a-holes. The staff knows this too. Kids from Maine and North Dakota would ruin the locker room. Absolute cancers, those kids.
