OBC is great but I'd prefer the JAR. Greater capacity. Could allow sponsors like Scorchers, OBC and others sell anything they'd like except alcohol. Would like to think interest in something like this would exceed what OBC is able to accommodate down on Main Street, especially given the ideal start time of 7:25PM. Just my two cents ...

I know you won't like this answer but AMTRAK can get you out and back for $193 (before taxes I think) each way. 45 HOURS to do it each way so you'd probably have to be on the 3:45AM train that leaves in about 8 hours. Haven't checked Greyhound .

I'm not a big fan of all of the alphabet soup post-season tourneys BUT our young Zips can use all of the Big-Dance-like experience they can get. It's going to be a lot of fun the next few years with Humpty, Zeke, the McKnights and Company. liljc's got the right idea (win 23 and you're in The Big Dance for sure) but let's hope Akron is playing somewhere after Cleveland.

My son and I watched the George Mason/VCU game last night. I couldn't help but think of the impact His Zekeness could have on Akron's fortunes as we watched VCU's Sanders do his thing at both ends of the court (blocks, jams). We also wondered whether Humpty can become Zeke's Maynor!

My son and I are going today but I'm not happy at all about it. Take care of business, I keep a chunk of change in my pocket, and don't have to show up at The Q until Thursday.No pep bands today? Fits right in with no rushing the floor at the end of the final game and sticking students way up in the nose bleed seats. Way to create that special college basketball atmosphere ... the MAC just sucks.

To look at them all decked out in pee-yellow Can't T-shirts in the middle of one of the Can't student sections and then the other, all the while 'cheering' for Can't you'd NEVER suspect they're actually Rowdies. I had 'Zippy' next to me pointing them out - what a hoot. You'd think SOMEONE at Can't would be wise to them by now ... but, then again, it's Can't.The undercover Rowdies were able to successfully enlist the services of at least one Can't idiot, tried to entice a second, but decided not to push things too far and settled for the idiot holding one end of the banner while one of the undercover guys slowly unfurled the banner. These two guys belong in the Rowdy Hall of Fame I say!

For whatever reason, Can't always seems to have a Big Ugly in the middle. Unfortunately, their big uglies can also post numbers in the final box score. We have no middle - NONE!

Outstanding draws and times in my opinion. LOVE that I won't miss any work (or my son any school) AND that we get Toledo followed by Miami.The only down side ... Miami games are bad enough but 9:30PM??? Will DEFINITELY be drinking a large mug of coffee on the way up so I stand the best chance of staying awake!!!! Thanks for all of the updates everyone.
