CMU is tough but will have to overcome their coach's penchant for stupid calls. Going on 4th down just before half at your 25 and turning the ball over on downs was genius. He was lucky to not give up any points there but put his d in a tough spot. What a tool.

Good luck to the Lions and Zips for a hard fought game featuring great offense, defense and a lack of injury timeouts. Having a good team is new to us, but I think we have a team that will surprise many in Happy valley.

Hey bandman, if you want to read rocket lamenting the state of toledo football, go to their web page. I don't care what they have, what they need, or who they didn't get. He thinks he's talking about someone who doesn't want to go to toledo because there are so many good qb's in front of him, but it's a good pick up by Akron. That's a snide comment, but I'm glad Rodgers chose Akron. He can post all he wants but if he posts about toledo, it's gonna be more of the same. I disagree unless it's raining sideways. It should help the wideouts because they know where to cut and the db's will be walking on eggshells trying not to fall down. It also negates speed. Our boys have a lot of size now. I don't think we'll be giving up much in that department. They have us in depth, but i like our offensive and defensive lines.

You simply don't understand the written word if you believe this. Most of our posters have been very generous with some calling PSU an elite team. It's you and other PSU posters who give no respect. You know much less about Akron than we do of PSU.
