    Not sure how long Cardinal can keep up that D pressure. Having watched them several times in PAC-12 play, this is far above their normal level. Kudos to them and coach Gunn. We will see in next 20 minutes if Zips can change it.

    Just for comparison, the University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors also have a "home bowl", the Hawai'i Bowl and they are always disappointed when they miss their chance to play in it. The UH has only once in history played in a different bowl game, while playing in the home Aloha or Hawai'i Bowls on double-digit occasions. I don't get why FAU wouldn't want go play in front of their home fans.

    Great post, thanks for your advice and hope we can celebrate on Sunday with the local ZipsNation boosters in the CoBL. I know that political forces and planners joined together in the idea to redevelop the South side Chester area with the construction of the Union Talen Energy Stadium. Is there additional hotel and entertainment options in the Chester area, I hope? Welcome aboard the ZipTrain to SecondStar!

However, you are out of place to ever question the loyalty and confidence board members like Zip-ME87 place in our team. His post was an effort to motivate the team to perform beyond their highest effort of this season -- and I might well believe it succeeded!

    zipsoutsider got it right here. This "system" is crazy, and I can't frankly blame other MAC schools and fans for being upset, even "jealous". What's the use in playing a championship game if the loser ends up in a nicer (And richer) bowl situation than the winner? There's a committee to make brackets for NCAA tournaments, but for bowls, there's some ESPN number cruncher acting like a mad scientist!

    Then, you'd have a lot of nickels, because the first clause (soccer is the #1sport in the world) has been true for well over a century, and the second (is rapidly growing in the US) has been the case since the start of Major League Soccer in 1996. But I don't wanna beat a dead horse!
