  1. I heart the Suburbanite! Old times really kicked in with the article over "Fight and Prostitution at Green Motel" Hilltopper, is GL's still in operation? lol. I was classmate with the son of the owner -- He actually played OL for coach Dennison!
  2. I absolutely LOVE being wrong!
  3. We won the second half 43-26!
  4. I hope they have us winning.
  5. I lost track when we went up by 5! How many have the Huskies scored?!? I <3 it!!!
  6. BIG DOG Just gave us the lead back! This is easier than I expected. Ha ha.
  7. 52-45! Guess what? We're coming back!
  8. FWIW, at least it has contrasting colors. Oregon's "tree court" is so shady that it confuses the viewer and makes it hard to see or follow the ball.
  9. Well, if I were a betting man... Sorry, guys!
  10. And the network apparently could be either CBSSports or ESPN(U). But, they should take that wording off the schedule after the point at which they know it isn't going to be televised. I have not seen a point spread for tonight, but I suspect NIU should be a 2 or 3 point favorite given their record.
  11. I believe I read in the pre-game notes to this one, that the Bulls were averaging just over 4 made 3-pointers a game. They hit 10 against us, which I guess is 18 extra points (not sure what their PPG average was). But, at the same time, as I reported during the second half, 32 of their first 52 shot attempts were layups! Now WHO was picking WHOM'S poison? Luckily, I think they missed at least a third of those lay-ups. Bottom line, as far as I see it is, we wouldn't have won this game in years gone by, because we wouldn't have had a KC to make those 24-footers. But, chances are, Big Dog would have still missed a slew of FTs!
  12. I think when Kwan made that final '3', we went up like 73-64? I know it was a nine point lead. Then we tried to run out the clock again . My heart can't take many more of these.
  13. Did Akron score ANY FGs the final 7:00?? Didn't seem like it.
  14. Well, according to ESPN, Akron. won 91-90. ???
  15. Can someone give an update? Stats died with 24 secs to play. Game over??
  16. Buffalo has taken 52 total shots, 32 layups!
  17. When I first laid eyes on (freshman) Kwan Cheatam, at the University of Hawaii's Klum Gym practice facility, I said "that guy looks like a baller"!
  18. Two threes by. Josh, then a pair for Kwan! 6 point lead now for the good guys.
  19. They're pouring through our poor, porous defense.
  20. Our poor shooting is carrying over. Just 5 of 16, 31% from the 3; and 13 of 31, 42% overall.
  21. He better have a big second half then, because he failed to score in the first.
  22. Very sloppy end to the half. Teams combined have missed 11 of past 14 shots.
  23. Kwan is #Spookless. #Unspookable? He made 4 straight three-pointers!
  24. Toledo wins at Ohio 79-76. Anybody think we can't win out? We should be favored every game thru the MACC.
  25. This is as close to the appropriate place for this as I can find. Travis Clark ranks the MLS Academy teams. Surprised by some things, like the new clubs (e.g., Atl United, Orlando) being above older clubs. I expected Portland Timbers to be higher, frankly. And I have a personal interest in the player Travis mentions as the top player on Seattle Sounders -- Shandon Hopeau is a local O'ahu kid who graduated from HS here last year. I would LOVE to see that name on a Zips roster! He has incredible ball skills and acrobatic moves in the box. Only problem is he MAY have played pro briefly in Croatia last Summer. Not sure. Have to assume Jared is aware of him. https://www.topdrawersoccer.com/club-soccer-articles/how-they-rank:-the-best-mls-academies_aid41352?utm_source=TopDrawerSoccer+Newsletter&utm_campaign=63746fe581-TDS_Weekend_1-22-17&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_8340315a79-63746fe581-31214089
