I think skip-zip was misunderstood... Quade is a 6'-7" F who can high jump 6'-10". There is a reason the Zips lead the conference in blocked shots (and it's not just Quade). As for quickness, Middleton will be blowing by your G on his way to the hoop for an easy layup. And Dru will NOT have the ball stripped as often as you think. He's a very smart PG who's assist/turnover ratio is one of the best.

The 4138 attendance figure included paid who didn't make it (including me
) "butts in the seats" were reported at just over 1500. -
Toledo wins 68-56.

flat and rusted at the bottom of the Cuyahoga

oh the memories! Andrick was an intense rebounder... Klaus never really played much (couldn't make the adjustment to US style play I think), Shindewolf was a slasher but injuries plagued him, Faulknor could shoot the 3, Phillips and Bruuuuuuuce were good shot blockers...

I love it!Or just a simple triangle recycle symbol with a number 4 in the middle

At one point we had Dru, Conyers, Linhart, Wood & Romeo on the court... a new "big" lineup?Hope they can solve the lapses in the middle of the game before the MAC tourney.

I think the Army game is the first of the "Patriot Bowl" series (MAC team vs service academy @ Browns stadium... next year is Navy vs Can't State).

-
thought I saw him on the court in a pink(?) shirt & tie during warmups the other night.

Good thing web browsers have scroll bars! How about a meter that shows us just how much....

already were... during the Coleman Crawford years. from recollections of the games I attended, I bet avg attendance was similar to EMU's current avg his last year here.Lets hope you are correct on that for the future though!akron never gets like that!

infofx does a super job keeping that site up to date and even broke the Jacoboice story to me while he was in Japan before I heard it over here!

We beat them and went to the NCAA tourny back in the 80's when Huggins was here. Here's to hoping we make the trip again!

I did like the sign last game about the lid coming off the JAR

-
I look forward to 2010 when the new stadium has been completed, the bball team has been to the NCAA tourny a few times, the JAR sells out for ALL games and we plow the JAR under for a new 8-10k arena
(could the old CHHS be the temp arena while it's being built? - they used it for classes when the heat went out recently)

-
yep... and Zippy used to get tossed around by the cheerleaders then too.

I saw the commercial this evening (actually several times). I didn't mind that they used old footage. Most people (except us of course) will not notice (or know) that they used old footage. Sure it'd be nice to have current footage, but they did show Romeo several times. I'm just glad to see them advertising on TV for a game, especially on the network that most people who like sports will see, even if they only catch it in a bar.soon-to-be

Neat video story about LeBron, Romeo & Dru

I do remember seeing the Nike store in the new stadium information and wondered the same thing... are they planning on jumping on the Nike boat?
