The rumor about Tressel being on campus is 100% true, which I find interesting that he is reporting otherwise. Hopefully we find out everything tomorrow. Or this could be a planned leak of misinformation to deflect attention and save face if JT has declined. In that case, maybe what we hear tomorrow will be nothing. As if nothing ever happened with Tressel. you could be right, but some of the information was already leaked, just kept secret by those that were told. Waiting for tomorrow night.

I didn't mention the impact this could have on enrollment. If Akron were to hire Jim Tressel, you could assume that it would cause an enrollment increase as high school students will see Akron as a big deal. You could also assume that this would cause an enrollment decrease for K SUcks as high school students would prefer Akron.

The final nail in his coffin? the story seems to be positive. It actually looks encouraging and something to help his case getting a coaching job again.

Mattocks is the only underclassmen I think we need to worry about. He'll sign generation Adidas and will get a 6 digit salary. the rest will be back.

thank you to everyone that came out. Wasn't the result or game we all wanted, but it was great to see so many Zips fans there. Around 40 attended with a MLS super star in attendance. Great time overall. Thank You, let's look to improve the tailgate experience next year.

This is a heart breaker, i thought the new lineup was the real deal to take us all the way. btw how did this thread turn into the game thread? The watch party had around 40 people including a MLS player. Was a good year with lots of great memories for us fans. We have the draft next and then we root for Porter as the US23 coach. We're a young team losing only a few players. I look forward to next year. Again, sucks we lost, but there were a lot of positives this year. Tailgating tradition for soccer games will continue next year.

how many people here would buy season tickets if Tressel is hired? Count me in for 3.
