sgm, maybe your right but i doubt it. She does cover golf events, and other activities in Akron, she just never writes about the University. Maybe she's from Can't or CSU, no idea. But she has never mentioned the Unviersity of Akron for as long as I can remember. Either it's 1) neglect, or 2) she's not allowed to, but I can't understand how someone who writes for an Akron newspaper isn't allowed to cover events that happen in Akron. She covers CSU football and sometimes the browns, CSU basketball, and probably tennis or some other sports in the spring. Never mentions the University of Akron. I don't like either answer.. How could you???So it couldn't have been her. I wonder who it was?

I'm an accounting major. I understand that costs go into running this site.But, if I speak against OSU, a couple posters on here treat it like I'm speaking against Jesus. I'm not happy about this area's attitude towards the Zips. OSU is stepping on our toes and of course I'm going to try to stop it.

Akron has only 5 away games (if you don't count the tournament), you can't complain about that. Big game tomorrow against Indiana, let's Pack the Jack. I'm going to some ZRC meeting around 5, hopefully I'll catch the game after.

I believe everytime I've bashed OSU (you might fine one or 2 but not more), it pertained to the Zips and was related to the thread until one of the OSU defenders got crazy with it. I always bring OSU up if it has something to do with the thread. For example; when we planned on going to Panini's or Johnny Malloy's, would we have to deal with OSU fans that think this is Columbus??? Everytime I speak against OSU, there's a couple posters on here that treat me as if I'm speaking against Jesus. That's when the discussion gets off topic.

OSU isn't very good in soccer but have played tough against ranked teams.The battle for Ohio. I'm predicting this game to be a shut out. Akron 3, OSU 0. Hasn't Akron beat OSU almost everytime they've played? Is there even a big pay out for soccer games?

We root against OSU as well. Michigan has a good shot at beating them this year, and i have a feeling a couple guys from this board are going to need tissues if that happens.I understand you defend Can't and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. There's people on here who defend OSU. So if it's acceptable to defend OSU as Zips fans, it's acceptable to defend Can't as well as a Zips fan.Now that pertains to the topic.

I want to go but not sure if I have any friends that want to so I'm looking for people to go with. I would bring my son but he's only 17 months old, and you could imagine how much soccer I would actually get to watch if I brought him.

brookhart will be with the Zips for at least 4 more years unless he's gunning for a job in Colorado, which could happen.And Getsy really hurt his chances for the NFL today. He'll be a late round pick at best.I'm not trying to be negative about all of this, I'm just being realistic.
