I think the students prefer the late games to be honest with you. I can't tailgate for the BG game because I've already missed my Saturday class 4 times, one more = bad grade. I'll still be at the game though. I like the games being at 6. Gives more time for tailgating.

is this suppose to be a high school stadium for the Akron Public Schools? Because I'd hate to see the Zips play in it.

I hate Can't State as much as I hate the Suckeyes. But I would root for Can't against the Suckeyes.

I could care less about what time the Suckeyes play, did they even win last week? I could care less about them. I called out a bunch of children and adults wearing OSU clothes at the Akron game. I told them, "wrong stadium." To be honest with you, I'd rather not see those people at the games if they're too poor to buy any Akron gear before the game. They obviously wasted there money on luckeye crap.Akron needs its own identity. Ohio.com is garbage. Another week of supporting the city of Columbus. When are they going to support the city of Akron? It's the whole 1:00 pm Akron game that sucks. It's really going to hurt attendance having the game so early. the 6:00 games work out great for students. Especially when the game is over, you go home, change, and then party right after.

Why does it start at 1? This is going to hurt attendance. I'd like to organize another tailgating fiesta but I don't get out of class until 11:45. Plus, how many students would I be able to get out there around 10 in the morning? I'll be at the game, but I think the time for this game sucks. They should move it to 6.

I have no idea how they account for every student. My group was really drunk and just kind of walked in at the same time. I know they have a clicker but there was a lot of heads all at once. The student section was also packed for the most part. It was a fun time. I'm not sure about the next home game though, it starts at 1:00????? I get out of class at 11:45. No tailgating for me this week. They should move the game back to 6

For some reason everyone including the local media thinks a college from Columbus is local. I still can't understand how a school from Columbus gets more local support in Akron than an actuall school in Akron. I honestly can't stand it.

Larry Dawson, a 6'0, 190 pound RB from North was offerered a scholarship by Akron. Ohio State has also shown interest. This is probably my last post on Zipsnation. I'm loyal to the Zips so I'm going to be anti-Suckeyes/Luckeyes. If this site won't allow that, it's not the place for me.We're tailgating this Saturday if anyones interested. whether you like it or not, if OSU went 4-8 in football, I'm willing to bet Akron wouldn't have attendance issues.

you guys can take turns bending each other over for all I care. I don't like OSU and don't like seeing my community supporting an outside team like the one from Columbus when there's a great one already here that needs the support. I wouldn't bash OSU if this community actually gave a damn about the University of Akron. But when 16,011 show up for the first home game, I'm going to take it out on the Suckeyes.So I'll bash OSU, and bash, and bash them.

AKRON plays OSU tomorrow. They are big rivals in soccer and compete for athletes in Ohio every year for soccer. You always refer to football when i'm never thinking football in the first place. Soccer is my favorite sport.The funniest thing about all of this is that I was going to take the whole rooting for OSU is like rooting for Can't out of my signature a couple days ago but didn't because i was busy. Now I feel like I have no choice but to keep it.
