    no way... after next season he will be gone unless we can pay him something close to his worth in the open market. 4 more years is a dream. I wish he would stay but i am also a realist. he's not even at the top of the list. Explain to me why he'd be gone??

    I want to go but not sure if I have any friends that want to so I'm looking for people to go with. I would bring my son but he's only 17 months old, and you could imagine how much soccer I would actually get to watch if I brought him.

    brookhart will be with the Zips for at least 4 more years unless he's gunning for a job in Colorado, which could happen.And Getsy really hurt his chances for the NFL today. He'll be a late round pick at best.I'm not trying to be negative about all of this, I'm just being realistic.

    The University of Akron has a hockey team and play on Oct 7th against Case Western from 3:40 pm to 7:05. The football team plays away at Cinci which i don't think will be televised so you should consider going to the hockey game.

    I honestly don't think we need to worry about JD leaving so soon. He's not even at the top of the list of Mid Major Coaches. The coach from Fresno State, TCU. or Utah would be the first targets, I think Toledo's coach would actually go before JD. JD is an amazing coach but I don't think he'll be gone within 4 years.

    11-1 is very possible. This could be a great year. A Zips win, 2-1 record, will make the North Texas game very exciting for this community. The ABJ has actually started to cover the Zips. A guy I work with came up to me and told me he saw the article on the game. It's time to open up the community's eyes.

    too bad Akron was the only team to beat a BCS so far, that doesn't reflect well on the MAC. Especially when Toledo, the powerhouse MAC team, gets beat by Western Michigan.
