Hence my push to try and make it an Akron section lol. Tons of tickets available. We were in a mixed section tonight and the row of Kent fans behind us were annoying (they also did not like me).

C119 is where we got tickets using her code. $39 a piece out the door if anyone is interested in making that another Akron section.

Good call. Not sure how he has a 5th year but they only celebrated Whaley and Safford. Wouldn't be surprised if he hits the portal to get paid.

Gillespie was a true freshman at Kent when they last beat Akron in March 2023. That was Kent's 2nd win vs Akron that season. Those are his only 2 wins vs Akron. 2-9 in his career vs the Zips. He fouled out in his final game. See ya, loser. Edit: Apparently he has one year left somehow.

The refs have no idea how to call this game. Too inconsistent, and that's going both ways.

We need to take better advantage of their overaggression on defense. They are pressing out and only leaving one guy back. Need to pass out of the double quicker and rotate it then drive and either get the layup or kick for an open shot.

Slow and lethargic. Gotta pick it up. Eric Mahaffey needs to have more confidence in his jump shot. Passed out of a wide open 3 to Sharron who was open for a second but borderline surprised he was getting the ball. By the time he shot it, a hand was in his face.
