The classless Can't students really prooved that the sign they held up (We Suck) was true. They started throwing stuff at Earthquade and onto the court. That is why I dont think that Miami is going to get past Can't tonight. Third game in 3 days. I expect that Can't will try to force an uptempo game, and wear them down. They are only 6-7 guys deep, too.But they scored 74 against OU!!!! I'm sorry but if they can do that, I might lean towards Can't. Plus I was in the restroom yesterday at the Q and over heard some Can't guys talking. They were saying how they wanted to play Akron so they could kick out butts again. Then how they would hear about the ref excuses and other excuses on why they didn't make the post-season. These were business like people. Gosh that school is classless. I was right there too with my cape on. :blink:

Well part of that was because Can't was in our face with good defense the whole game and we couldn't get a good look. I'm not saying it lost the game, I'm just saying tougher defense works. Look at Tennessee. They play one of the best defenses I've seen. I mean I know they have athletes, but still, Bruce Pearl is making sure their defense is up at all times.

Anybody else think we need to get tougher on defense? Can't is tough and look what happened. I mean they can play too tough and foul a lot, but a lot of times it works. They dive after balls. They never let people back them down. We play softer D. I'm not sure if KD is looking for tougher and it's just not happening, but I think we need to get tougher. By the way, I'm not trying to be like Can't. In order to do that you need your hippies license. You also need to have the guts to shout during the National Anthem. We can never be classless hippies. Ummmm nope, I won't. It was apparent to every Akron or non-partisan fan in attendance. They bumped, they slapped, they swatted, they reached and more often than not, nothing was called. I won't bring it up if it doesn't happen.It was the non-calls that made me mad. That last second 3, Fisher pushed off on Dials to:A. Clear space.B. Catch his balance.C. Both.If you chose C. (in my opinion) I think you are correct. But yet again like a lot of the night, there was no call when we needed it. Also I noticed that a lot of the time there was a ticky-tack foul called on Akron when the crowd started to get into it. Now I don't know what that was about, but it happens a lot.
