Looking at their schedule and results, they dont look too good. They beat teams by pretty slim margins and get killed by good teams. We should take care of em if we play well, but let's not look past URI.

It's 2010 and Can't State still sucks!

This is kind of of topic, but isn't the A-10 a mid-major conference? I was on the mid-major rankings, and none of the A-10 teams are on there.

I just voted Akron because I want him to come here.

It's at UNCG? Wow. Why can't Akron get that?

My mom did think it was StVM because Willy McGee (a GA for Akron) had the same outfit on as they did. Willy played with LeBron and co. I also know that Willy coached Freshman basketball at StVM last year. This could be a major recruiting project.

I got a bunch of Zips gear for Christmas, but my main gift was the trip to Cary for the Championship game. Merry Christmas.

No joke, most of those games are better than what we play today.Please go through those teams again, one at a time, slowly, give it some more thought, and report back.All I'm saying is I'd rather play Pitt, Eastern Kentucky, Robert Morris, and Austin Peay as an OOC schedule than Malone, St. Francis, and UNCG. I mean look at these teams today, and they aren't bad. Even Illinois State is decent.

+1Look at our soccer program. EVERYONE knows about it. Kids at my school are talking about it and my school is very pro OSUcks. If we want to be the Gonzaga of the East, then we have to schedule like Gonzaga. Once you get that done, you have to win, like Gonzaga.

Only thing I have to say is no more St. Francis of a Sissy's anymore please and please no more Malones. I hate to say it, but even if we make the NCAA tourney year in and year out, we'll never win unless we get the experience playing these top teams.

I mean honestly, these guys are 1 injury away from not having a career. Caleb is the best coach and one of the best recruiters in the nation and if you think that this is the end of the beginning of a dynasty then you're wrong. I'm not that worried. I think we'll be better next year (somehow, I mean 23-1-1 is a heck of a record). Let's Go ZIPS! Don't lose sight of that

This disappoints me. Don't get me wrong, he's a great soccer player, but there's unfinished business here at Akron. Let's just hope this doesn't mean that a few others leave.

Honestly, I don't think he's horrible. I never thought he was. Look at the offensive lines he's playing behind. You don't even have time to say ABC before it collapses. It's going to be interesting to see how he's greeted by the Cleveland fans.

I would be surprised if anyone left. If the staff and seniors, especially Zemanski, are doing their job, they'd be telling everyone that there's unfinished business and to stay. Plus, with Porter coaching Akron for at least 5 more years, we're golden. The recruits will come, and we could we in the early stages of a dynasty.

This happened to UNC, too. They went into PKs with NCST in the ACC semis and it counted as a tie, but they lost, so technically, they now have 4 losses. Does this effect our NCAA history record?

Imagine the recruiting advantage that MLS team would have. They'd have one of the top, if not the top program in the NCAA right down the road. They'd also have other top teams coming in to Akron to play UA which is another recruiting tool. I hate soccer (too boring, but Akron soccer is fun because of all the action), but a MLS team might be fun to have. I guess I'm for this!
