Suder is going to feel that fall tomorrow.
UMass has 5 fouls to Miami OH's 3 and the Sweaters can't believe the whistle isn't going their way more lol.
Nor should they.
One of the first possessions for UMass saw a UMass guard body Suder out of the way after Suder pressed up too much. No foul was called and Suder threw his arms up, complaining to the refs. That is literally what Suder does almost every single time he has the ball.
The Big 12 has a deeper conference IMO and a carved out niche geographically. Basketball wise, it's the best conference in the country. It'll be the last conference to succumb to the Big 10/SEC suction.
Or it was quietly discussed to make sure Miami OH has the best player to help their image. By the way, coaches who are canned in the days following their season's end shouldn't be allowed to vote. What in the world do they know about talent? Not enough to keep their job.
Even if Miami OH loses 1st round, I'm half expecting the tourney MVP to be Suder still. We will be so lucky just to breathe the same Rocket Arena air as him.
Let's not act like the Big Ten and SEC wouldn't be interested in the aforementioned brands. The Big 12 would also be interested in a few, including some of the others I'd imagine.
Beyond the MAC will end up being the MAC. Unless a school latches onto the Big Ten or SEC (MAYBE the Big 12), they will eventually end up in the same spot as the MAC.
