there is no beer buzz. I was trying to make it sound smoother.lol. he did have a hell of game to end his season.he has to be up for mac 0 player of the week.

the two kids from osu are starting right now.the other I saw play in osu bowl game against Clemson. I do not care what gp say's. I saw the kid play.he was probably the best defense player on the field for both teams.i think osu thought spence was coming back so they do not really care.we have great defense coach who has turned the d around.i don't know about the dl from isu.he has some size to play though,and would the biggest dl we have.i have not seen him play.i did the osu kid play against a Clemson offense that would have put 70 on the akron defense that year.a picture Is worth a 1000 words.if he has grade, or other issues I have no idea.i just know he can play.

the only thing that might be a problem is the injury that he had. he has been hurt a few times in his pt at akron. alott of times these kids lie to the coach and tell him they are 100% when they are not. im more worried about rb next year.shawn is gone.all the other ones are hurt.all we have left is the fourth team running back. osu has five rb that are better than anyone we have. none of are rb would see the field at osu.i know we have transfer but I have not seen the guy play.under jd we had three good running backs to start the season.we were down to one at the end.you can never have enough rb!!!!

the sad thing is the mac east is terrible. the whole mac is not better. we were 4-2 with an easier schedule with the games left. we go 1-5? the first six we had marshall,pitt, penn state,morgan state. morgan state was an easy win.we hung with penn state, and beat pitt. we lose to a buffalo, bg,ou, Can't that all are pretty bad. that makes us look really bad losing to a one win Can't team!!!!

I just hope terry does not waste his talent. there has to some place for him. he would be a great ss in running situations.in passing downs put him on the edge.

in the bg game he was flying off the ball.bg had no one who could block him.if nothing else I would think he would be in on 3rd and long downs as a pass rusher.he needs to get a little more weight on him.

Jerome lanes kid played rb at firestone.i know akron has him at lb now. if he is not going start at lb why not give him a chance at rb. it would be nice to have a 6'3 225 rb and let cody focus on the dl. im not saying cody is not doing well at short yardage.every play on offense for him will gas him out at the end of games.

our offense was in the red zone twice, and came away with zero points. you can't do that and win games. the bg game.the same crap happens. throw a pick in the red zone. the next series let a snap go into your end zone. touchdown bg.our offense has been terrible all year. the good thing is the mac east is terrible so there is hope.

I don't think terry is going anywhere now. at least we know that. lol.

we lost because our offense can't score in the red zone,or they turn it over. the last part of the season was a mess. im really worried about rb spot next year. do we have anybody coming in next that can help at rb?

that's what I have been saying all year. our red zone offense is terrible. I have know idea how our defense is #1 with our offense so bad. I think our defense next year will fine. the two transfers on the dl will help with depth. need to find in some lb's and db's.like gp said we need talent on offense. there is not one position where don't need help on O.

the defense is #1in the mac. the offense would stop turning the ball over, or three-n-out every series. we would be fine.

you KANT turn the ball over in the red zone. maybe he is hurt? it's to the point when we get in fg range. just kick the fg. we KANT run the ball very good. the defense is ranked 30th this year in d-1. the zips defense is #1 in the mac.if we had any kind of offense we could have won the mac.

the loss of tree forces pat to play almost the whole game.we need to get more out of big dog in the next few weeks. I agree with big zip that big dog has to give quality pt to fill in for pat. without tree we just have no size coming off the bench. really playing without two big men. I was surprised we won 2 out 4 games. you can't replace one of the best players in the mac. with a few guys who never played last year.

Harney, treadwell, diggs are one trick ponies ? we won five in a row before Toledo. why did you not post the one trick pony theme then. you wait until we lose one game then you post the theme. kd will not play guys that won't play defense. if even you think some guys are on trick ponies on offense.they won't see the court without playing defense first. D.I. is decent three point shooter, and probably besides Q our best player in transition. I am not saying the zips are perfect. our pg play/foul shooting is not very good right now. we red shirted two players, and probably should have red shirted cheatam.AA put kd, and the team in a terrible position. kd is stuck playing evans who never played d-1 ball. CB who was a backup last year,or Q who is playing out of position at pg.im sure if kd knew how bad our play is at the pg postion. kd could have used up one of three guys who are not playing to find another pg. i have no idea why cheatam was not red shirted. kd wasted a year for guy who won't see much pt. we have one offer next year. kd needs to go out a find a pg. I don't like the idea of using three guys for a pg position, but I don't think kd has much choice. evans will be senior next year,and cb will be a junior. we have have the kid from ST.V,but we won't have him next year. if somebody does not come back next year then you could find someone to play Q position also.

johnny zip I have agree with you.if we played Toledo 100 X we would not beat them. the players for Toledo are better than akron players. Toledo will probably win every mac game.i just don't see anyone beating them.just look at the scores .toledo 67 buffalo 65 with Toledo winning with a shot at the buzzer. wmu 87 Toledo 76.those two scores prove akron would have no chance winning one game out of ten. maybe gp and johnny can explain how Toledo lost by 11 to wmu, and beat buffalo by only two points.

like a zips said. if you don't like the team. don't go to the games. nobody is forcing anyone to watch them tv. maybe it makes some middle age zip fans better about themselves. when the rip on teenagers, and kids in their early 20's who just lost a game.one of the football coaches iust died in a car wreck. that's real life, and a terrible thing to happen to someone. losing a basketball game does not mean anything compared to that. judge not and you will not be judged. maybe some of you might want to remember that when you are posting.

pittman was a huge pick up for the zips. I don't know all the issues at osu.mac schools don't get dl that are that highly ranked coming out of high school. does anybody know what happened to Jerome lane? I know he was a prop 48,but is he going to play for akron next year.

where were all the post last year bashing kd when we were winning 19 in a row.this happens every year as soon as we lose the first game of the year. the comments are always the same. can't win the big games. doesn't know how to draw up plays. doesn't adjust in the second half. does not know how to coach big guys.does not play the right players.if all these things are true how did we win 19 in a row and were in the top 25.if he is such a bad coach how was he coach of the year in the mac.name one mac school that would not trade for kd, and get rid of the current coach. buffalo fired here coach last year. ou fans hated the coach last year after thier flop. the nineteen games in a row were not all at home, and against mac schools .ou did win three ncaa games lately.how did that help them last year? we beat them three times ,and they fell flat on thier face in the first nit game.i agree with gp on the fact that players could care less that miami, Can't, and ou have won ncaa games.no player cares about what happened 15 years ago.

I did not see teams line up to offer tree a chance to play. while kd did offer him a free education. the zips lost two games,and he needs to get over it. my neighbor is 50 yrs old dying of cancer.im sure if you asked him he would trade places with tree in a second.
