I don't think I have ever listened to Ann Coulter, but one thing is for sure, if you want to listen to liberals you can turn on the nightly network news or CNN. That's the reason "conservative" talk radio gets a strong base and liberal talk radio can't. The more dominant media markets are flush with libs (almost all of whom call themselves moderates). If you want to actually hear a "conservative", you have to go find one, which is what people do.

If you're OSU, why would you come to Akron to play? Honestly...everyone take off the OSU-hating blinders and think logically for a second. They would have nothing to gain and everything to lose by coming to the JAR. It wouldn't help their strength of schedule one bit. And trust me...I love our team, but I'm pretty sure OSU isn't "afraid" of playing Akron. You contradict yourself.If they have nothing to gain and everything to lose, then obviously, they are afraid.

I saw something in the championship game that made me bust out laughing.It was an expression on the face of Charlie Coles (and an assistant coach) after the Zips had hit three 3-pointers in a row.It was soo funny, I had to keep reversing the video and watching it over and over. Because we ended up losing the game, I did not want to post the video right away as I had intended. I'm sorry, but the idea of playing a game by the lake sounds great to me. I imagine some crystal blue september sky, sailboats on the lake, and a football afternoon feel!Advertising should target people who aren't currently zip fans but who love football and would like to see a game in browns stadium at non-NFL prices. It would be a good way to get interest from Akron's bigest suburb up by the lake.

I had a cafe press store a few years ago (back when I had fairly big website).I was somewhat embarassed of the quality, but there weren't any alternatives at the time (not sure if there is one now), and what is worse, I felt even more guilty taking even a 5% on top, because the cafepress prices are so high to start with.... so I closed it down.I have art graphics skills, and I would even volunteer to sell stuff at cost (no cut for me), but I am highly skeptical that more than a few things would sell.[edit] if anyone has the initiative, a better alternative is to take some stuff to a local screenprint aparel shop. The reason I never got into that was because I didn't want to bother with shipping stuff all over the world... but for a local situation, it's great. Quality is higher, price is lower.[edit2] the disadvantage is that many of those places require a minimum order, or they ahve an equipment setup fee.

I don't care if your primary contact is Chuck Norris and your secondary contact is Jack Baur, the selection committees were not going to put three MAC teams in the tournaments(s). They had to take the mac tourney winner into the big dance, and they had to put the reg-season winner in the NIT. Since those were not the same team, that meant that Akron, as much ass kicking as they did, were left holding the bag. No freakin way they were going to show the MAC 3 team love. No way.I mean, we were debating what would have happened if Toledo won the mac tourney, because it would mean that we would get pissed if we didn't get an At Large, and no one ever considered the possibility that 2 other teams might go (and by the rules, had to go). I'll bet we could have beat Nevada and still not got in under these circumstances. The selections are political. They sat their scratching their heads trying to figure which east coast team that was on the bubble they were going to bump, or which team with cinderalla following and media backing. Let me tell you, they didn't scratch their heads long. Akron? Sha!To use a current events pun, we don't have any seizmic influence on their scales. You can complain all you want. You can even get the local papers to complain. It wont help.We can't raise a stink like Syracuse, and even they got fuxxored.Fear the roo? We are not feared. I honestly do not think that flàsh is a bad mascot. Maybe that is because I watched most of the toledo - miami game, and the toledo mascot is some dufus in a blue jumpsuit with a blue and yellow motercycle helmet on (which I think is supposed to be a rocketman er something) and all he ever did was bang two drumsticks together.

I told my bro (who is a Can't fan... guess I can't blame him since he went to Can't), if you would have told me we would have less than 20pts at the half, I would have called you crazy. I said, it's going to be a long half, but anything can happen. I think the score was 33-19, and I figured it would take most of the 2nd half to climb back in it. I told him that if Akron ends up winning this game, it will be a huge comeback. I knew we could start scoring, but I had no idea Can't would go so dry (or our D would come up so big). Now that I look at how low things appeared at halftime, and how quickly we turned it all around, it was more than a huge comeback. That was one hella game.

I have had ankle sprains that I could get back on and losen up the same day, but which swelled and stiffened up like a MFer the next day and took atleast 3 or 4 days before i could do anything more than ginger gimping. You can tape it up but it's not just a matter of pain. You lose a lot of mobility.
