No. So far they only have the blue hoodie and blue t-shirt. In hindsight the weather seems to have broken so I probably should have just gotten the t-shirt 😂

I like it. A lot. Somehow you guys designed an A that is both classic and modern. It’s also got some “Flying A” in its DNA.

Just purchased a new A hoodie from the Student Union book store. Polos are still only available online but I’m definitely getting one of those as well.

I was prepared to be literally upset by an overly busy, ugly, silly logo. It is none of those things, so I am not upset. It's sharp. It's clean. I'm content. Nothing compares with the Z, but since I've been told (by those on this board) that we're not completely retiring the Z, I am happy. Judging by the photoshop of DJ Irons, it looks like we'll be putting it on the side of the helmet. Question: Are the rest of the letters in the "AKRON" and "ZIPS" shown in the video also a new font?

I'd be fine with a nice looking A because, 1: it's going to be our primary logo (we can keep the secondary logos with the Z and with the variations on Zippy, e.g., my avatar), and 2: the new logo has to look nice on the side of a football helmet (PRIORITY NUMBER ONE - which the Z sure does & why I'm perturbed they're relegating it to second-tier status). It simply must not be too busy (as was the A-Roo-Head logo which just looked like a blob from more than 10 feet away).

We're definitely unconventional... quirky, funky, eccentric... when it comes to our name and mascot. But I love it; it's pure, undiluted Akron.

Comic Sans. 😂 I'll mention again, I like the Script Akron on the front of baseball & basketball jerseys. It's classic. Since it's pulled straight off a Nike website it's just not appropriate as a primary logo for a D-1 school.

I mistakenly posted Noah Perez’ commitment here thinking he was a ‘23 commit before seeing he is actually a ‘22 commit.

I disliked the A-Roo-Head logo as much as I like the Z. IMO it's one of the worst sports logos I've ever seen.
