  1. Coach was less than thrilled with how they played in the closed scrimmage. Who did they scrimmage?
  2. 6-2, 230 LB Rough looking hombre. Wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley. JCGridiron ranked him as the #2 JUCO ILB preseason.
  3. I think you're spot on, LZip. As far as I can tell he's only picked up offers from Mercer and Stetson, so, no offense to him, but it doesn't look like we're missing out here. Though his tape is top notch; dude's a real football player. I'm sure he'll excel at a lower level.
  4. They're only playing a handful of intra-squad scrimmages. So it hasn't intrigued me at all. I would have gone to a game or two if they were playing other schools.
  5. Irons & Norrils.
  6. Actually, the game should be kicking off just in time to spoil your lunch break.
  7. Arth is far superior to Ianello. Ianello was both incompetent and arrogant. Simply an atrocious combination.
  8. Yes, another "opportunity." So exciting.
  9. November Tuesday night MACtion featuring the hapless Zips. Attendance = <1500.
  10. For your reading enjoyment 🙃
  11. I'd love to see WVU miss the MAC tourney their last year in the league.
  12. How about 3 minutes INTO the 3rd quarter?
  13. Shots & SOG were similar, but it really felt like Akron was in complete control the whole time.

  15. Well, this hurts. This guy's tape is fantastic. He's a wrecking ball. *Initial post updated 😪
  16. Now word on the street is the Sun Belt is also interested in brining in JMU & ODU. Unfortunately, they would fit geographically and make sense as a "couple." The Sun Belt is kicking our ass. On ZN.o we've been talking about JMU to the MAC for a few years now. They should already be a member school. Why is MAC leadership NEVER proactive? 😡😡😡
  17. You'd think so. Be proactive. I'd love to have seen Marshall back in the MAC, but, whatever. Does it really matter? That increases the likelihood that WKU would accept an invitation. I'm still for bringing in JMU.
  18. I like Script Akron as an accessorizing logo to the Z. As a main logo? Most high schools try harder. And compared to the gorgeous, multi-combination football uniforms we’ve had the last handful of years, our new Nike’s SUCK BALLS.
