@NWAkron at the 7:25 mark ^^ GT asks the question, "Why does the defense still have consistency issues at this point [of the year]?" That question there was the tone of his article as it was originally posted.

Certainly. ... Umm, they changed the article since I posted that link. As I re-read the article it's not nearly as hard-hitting as it was. It paints the game as a close miss with the team noticeably improving. Idk. Originally it stated a couple of times that the team is still committing penalties/mental errors which shouldn't be happening 9 games into the season & that the defense is still a sieve.

GT's postgame analysis is rather blunt and harsh.  Definitely seems as though he's seen enough.

Guardians. It's a great name... if the team were in the Arena Football League.

Does our performance and near-miss -v- Ball State save Arth's job? That was the progress I've been waiting to see. We hung right in there with a top MAC school. (Though I suppose we also did that with Miami a couple years back...) This team really plays hard for these coaches. I would have figured they would have lost the locker room a while ago. But no, this team still gives them absolutely everything they've got. I respect & admire that from both sides - team and coaches.

💯 Quantum leap in OL productivity tonight. Made all the difference in the world. To end the game we had what, three 75-yard drives? I'm actually excited for next week's game! Can't believe it! Lol.
