  1. Interesting, especially considering we just signed Suggs on Wednesday, can expect Marquise Bridges in the fall, and already have RFr. Oregon State transfer & St. Thomas Aquinas product Deltron Sands on the team. We're really beginning to look good at the position.
  2. Great link! They didn't have any of the offers we know about, but have a lot that I wasn't aware of. The three East kids we've offered are: OL Ramon Fields RB Devanier Floyd WR/S Daishawn Brimage
  3. True. 24/7 now has Jabari Taylor ranked as a ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Prospect even though he and STVM's Eric Bentley are like twins. I still think we should have offered Taylor earlier in the season. But, to give Bowden the benefit of the doubt, I'm extremely biased toward the local guys.
  4. Beacon: Bobcats snap Zips' 12-game winning streak “We just had a rough night,” Dambrot said. “Shot selection in the first half wasn’t very good, but we got a lot of open shots in the second half. We just didn’t make them.” Games like this happen. Whatcha gonna do. Simmons led all scorers with 38 points on 10-of-16 shooting. A 29 percent 3-point shooter coming into the game, he was perfect from behind the arc, connecting on 5-of-5. A fluke. Again, it happens. Whatcha gonna do. Oh well.
  5. Oh, and it was good to finally see Big Mike back out on the floor, though it looked like he was winded after 20 seconds of action. It's gonna take him a while to work his way back into game shape. If we want to do anything significant this season, including, IMHO, winning the MACC, we're gonna need Big Mike as our #2 big.
  6. Over the last few years I've notice this development as well. I believe I'd go with 3. But like you said... maybe 4. OU used to be the #1 team I loved to hate, even more so than Kant, but now they're kinda... meh. (They're not quite at my Ball State level, but I hope they kick their program back up a few notches because the rivalry is not what it used to be.) Considering the officiating on Dog in addition to Kwan being under the weather, I'm not even too disappointed we lost (whereas losses to Kant keep me up at night). Whatever. Had to happen eventually; we weren't gonna run the table. At Buffalo, at Kant & even at EMU will be tougher games, if not equally as tough, than the game yesterday - so we'd better be ready. Edit: P.s. I just read that Simmons had 38 points?! I watched the game & it didn't feel like that. Well, now I'm not worried in the least; Big Dog & Kwan were almost completely MIA & Simmons had a career game & it was still competitive... in Athens?! Noooooo worries.
  7. I was thinking the same. This isn't THAT big of a surprise.
  8. If I wasn't a HUGE Akron fan I would have turned the channel long ago.
  9. Well, Hughes didn't look very good there on D. Lol
  10. I think we'll win. We played like utter ? And we're only down 5.
  11. We look like we're sleepwalking. We look like 5 Josh Williams out there. Wake up! Look sharp! Play with passion!
  12. That first half we played like the 300th best team in the country.
  13. Poke has a loooooooooooooong way to go to contribute at the D1 level.
  14. Why does KD still insist on playing Josh & Noah at the same time?
  15. When is Hughes coming back? He's been out most of the year now.
  16. Beacon: Zips put 12-game winning streak on the line on the road against tough Bobcats KD & I are of one heart and mind on this issue: “This city deserves to be proud and, again, because I’m a dual university community member, I want the community to have pride in us and I want to have unbelievable pride in the city,” he said. “For us to get Top 25 votes, that gives us the opportunity to do that. If we can crack the Top 25, this city will really start to have pride. Just like what LeBron did.”
  17. Good. Kwan's feeling well enough to watch a movie w/ the team. Hope he feels ready to go tomorrow a.m.
  18. Amen. I'm amped about this class. I wouldn't be as much if we didn't know about the players who weren't announced, but since we do...
  19. Well, at least he's not 5'8" like me ?
  20. Well, this makes me feel a little bit (a LITTLE bit) better about our WR corps after it got gutted this off season. Honestly, my optimism about next year was based on a healthy Woody throwing to those three P5 guys I thought we had waiting in the wings.
