  1. Idk, I don't really trust those sites. Jemarulin Suggs is definitely signing. Same with DeAndre Brimage. (Unless they're both non-qualifiers, or something. But they're both definitely planning on playing ball for UA.)
  2. Forgot about those NIU announcers. I remember liking the guy on the right last year.
  3. It's NLOI Eve and here is how we think our signing class, as presently composed, will break down by position: DEFENSE DL (4) DeAndre Brimage Eric Bentley Tracy Jordan Malik Townsend DE (3) Justin Sampson Kobie Booker Matthew Hanson LB (1) Bubba Arslanian CB (2) Jordyn Riley Marquess Callaway S (2) Reggie Corner Jr. Jerome Cooper OFFENSE QB (2) Nick Johns Alex Ramart OL (2) Marcus Kidd Hunter Corne RB (2) Jemarulin Suggs Marquise Bridges WR (1) Dusty Burkhart PK (1) Mitch Cooper P (1) Jonah Weiland ATH (1) Malik Woodridge
  4. You're right. Seems to be back to normal. Thanks!
  5. GT of The Akron Beacon: Kwan Cheatham elevates game with hard word, growing confidence Great article on Kwan's explosion! Good insight by Big Dog concerning Kwan's development. He echoes what we've noted as well: Teammate Isaiah “Big Dog” Johnson said he sees other reasons for the difference. “He’s not worried about missed shots,” Johnson said after a recent practice. That ability to move on after a bad or missed shot is key in the success of any basketball player. “It’s just level-headedness, always staying within himself, not trying to do too much,” Johnson said. “Just doing what he does best and it’s working out for him.” In other words, he’s also strengthened the mental aspect of his game. (If I may submit a complaint, this story should have run yesterday and the ABJ should have given us a proper NIU pregame story today. Just saying.)
  6. Jerome received an invitation to the NFL combine.
  7. I'm having some minor bugs since the upgrade.
  8. I'm on my phone so can't post the link, but STVM DT Eric Bentley just committed!
  9. Buffalo apparently looking to build a pipeline to STVM
  10. Broke by Beaven... This guy's a stud. Happy day
  11. Thought I'd go ahead and start this thread because this game is sneaking up on us! "TRAP GAME, this is," said Master Yoda. Sandwiched in between our 1st tilt w/ Buffalo & our 2nd go around w/ Ohio, we'll be on the road at Northern Illinois, who sits in 1st place in the MAC West and boasts an overall record of 13-8 (5-3 MAC). NIU is a team which wins both at home and on the road, with road victories over Kant, FIU, USF, BUGS, & most recently, at Toledo. In Dekalb they've beaten (among others) Indiana State, Idaho, UIC, & Central Michigan. Like everyone else in the MAC, they're going to want to prove their manhood against us, so they'll get a good nights' sleep & eat their Wheaties before the game. I believe that I heard somewhere that we were chartering a flight to Dekalb? So at least we won't have to suffer through that long bus ride. Hope the fellas can re-focus & be ready to play yet another tough one.
  12. Looks like Kwan's family feels the same way about him putting it on the floor once in a while. Lol.
  13. True, true; good points!
  14. Double post. Should have placed this here. McK's Joe Corner is going to Walsh.
  15. Joe Corner (Reggie Jr.'s cousin?) is going to Walsh. That's a much better fit for him and (apparently) frees up a spot for us.
  16. Just a hunch, but I'd bet he was gently told we were stacked at the position. Bardo was a very early commit & is undersized. He may turn out to be a great college talent, but I'm not in the least bit dismayed over is de-commitment. I've still got my fingers crossed for Bubba.
  17. This. Despite the score being so tight all night, there was no flow to the game and the result was that, IMHO, it was actually kinda boring.
  18. This is where I am in my thinking. I've appreciated Kwan's game for 3 years now; he just happens to be absolutely blowing the MAC away this year. But I'm going with Jimmy Conyers. Even though I do believe we call it the Jawanza Moore Award, I actually appreciated what Jawanza brought to the floor for more than one year. I considered Jimmy a complete bust until his breakout senior year. Jimmy was like a deer in headlights.
  19. I was just looking at Buffalo's schedule. How on earth is that team only 9-12?!?!
