Oh, my. I thought this was a brilliant bit of jokery poking fun at our basketball schedule.
It's no joke.
(I figured 94zipgrad was having some fun w/ photoshop.)
Edit: Oh well, easy win.
Just win (six), baby!
Jeffrey Lubin visited Iowa State last weekend and seemed to really enjoy his visit.
He visits with us this weekend.
Signing Jeffrey would instantly get me over the insult of being spurred by DeAmonte King. Jeffrey's highlights (I know) look better than anything I ever saw out of DeAmonte. And I saw DeAmonte play, oh... I'd say at least five times. (I'm not sure how much/hard the Zips actually pursued DeAmonte - possibly because we're focussed on Jeffrey.)
Go Zips! (Go Otis!)
I was listening to ZipsLive last week & KD was interviewed. He again mentioned the renovation of the JAR & said he'd, naturally, like to get that done asap.
He also mentioned the "new arena." In his mind the renovation of the JAR & a brand new arena are two distinct projects. He's obviously viewing the renovation of the JAR as a stop gap.
I'm impressed they sold out against UT. I do have to wonder if those numbers were inflated. Typically the only game Kant sells out is the game against us.
I din't even know they were thinking of renovating the MAC Center. That'll be 2 renovations for the MAC center before we pull off one for the JAR. As they stand now, I'd rather watch a game in the JAR as opposed to the MAC Center. That's how gawd awful the MAC Center is presently.

Didn't know Ken was a Zips fan. That's a big deal. Dude is one of the brightest young business leaders in town. He's become a true Akronite!
We've been saying for a couple years that UA needs to learn all they can from the RubberDucks.
