All the games I watched were quite good! That was fun!

Took a small group with one newbie to the Southern Miss game last night. His very first comment after we survived the perilous climb up the rickety bleachers was, "This isn't a very nice arena." 😑

Oh hell, I'm just gonna say it, Give the ball to Lingard and good things happen. Why does it feel like the staff has to relearn this every game?!?! 😡

Did Amani Lyles get any PT last night? And I think I saw Groce put Ryan Prather into the game for a single free throw (not him shooting) and then pull him? Hope Prather's able to offer us something sooner or later.

SOOOOOO glad Michael Beaven now seems to be covering the Zips. That indicates the ABJ is taking UA athletics much more seriously. Hope they never send GT back.

Tavari & Thornton both had rough games again last night. Tavari doesn't yet really look like a D1 player & Thornton hasn't yet been able to provide the steadying veteran presence I was hoping he'd provide. I thought we ran the O pretty smoothly when Shammah was doing a lot of the ball handling. Maybe we should give him a shot at the PG spot? He's played a lot of PG in the past & I love his defense.

Two games in and he's already doubled his 3-point count from last year!🤯 🤯😂 But seriously, wouldn't it be great if his defender had to respect his 3-point shot? That'd open a whole new world for Greg.

A couple of my friends went to buy concessions & 10 minutes later came back to the seats empty handed complaining that there was nothing but beer on the 2nd floor & down in the lobby the lines were 25 ppl deep w/ ppl cutting in line to boot. pee poor job. What's up with that? It's like we realized 5 minutes before opening the JAR doors that, 'Oops, I guess we'll maybe need a concessions stand open tonight?'
