Blue & Gold

FWIW, caught a glimpse of Ali Ali in this video

Your post made me look again at the picture. You're right! There is an NIU and an outline of the state of Illinois at center court... if you squint you can kind of see it 😂

Much better.

We're in a tough spot. If we lose this week @ BUGS, our next game would be the Wagon Wheel game vs. KSUcks 😕

Agreed. Redshirt be damned. Just win, baby.

Might as well. We have 5 games left so I believe our youngsters can play all five and still retain the year of eligibility. EDIT: I posted too soon. Apparently I'm mistaken concerning the 5 games. @catdaddyp just stated it is 4 games & he knows what he's talking about.

I failed to notice that. Thanks for pointing that out.

Yes. This year I was fully expecting us to win 6 games, finish 3rd in the MAC East (behind OU & Miami), and gain bowl eligibility. With that expectation, I was also prepared to take a step back next year as we would be watching a young Wassel take his lumps and fight through growing pains being a Redshirt Freshman starting QB. But not now. We can't patiently wait for Wassel to develop. We need to win next year.

Don’t like this camera angle

Yep. Yet another game we would’ve won with even mediocre QB play 😕

Good hustle Cory!

😢

At least it was a nice punt

Do we have a 90-yard drive in us?

Plenty of time left Ugh, and now penalty pushes us 1/2 way to the goal. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Poor punts today.

The false start HURT

LET’S GOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

D is hitting!!

Love Lingard & it makes me sick thinking we’ve wasted a year having such a stud RB.

Undercuffler in

Go Zips!! Beat Xavier!!!

Well, that might be game, set, & match. A 10-3 deficit feels insurmountable 😭😭😭

No matter how hopeless, bleak, and empty one may feel as a Zippers football fan, at least we’re not KSUcks.

💯 Took a fruitful drive into the city this morning to get ready for the game. At least they’re numbing the pain… a bit 😭😭
