  1. We lack the eye of the tiger. I want to see us match the intensity of the guy in my soon to be retired avatar.
  2. May I have the envelope please ? Drum roll..................... From the University of Ohio, Antonio Campbell. The Kittens would be in a world of hurt without this guy, Last week, 20 boards against Miami, 33 pts vs. Eastern. He straps that team on his back night after night and just gets it done. When I think about a players true value to his team and where they would be without him I think he's the guy and I don't believe ts even close.
  3. Doing my part by switching avatars after a loss . However,I am overwhelmed with the sinking feeling that this game is going to be much closer than it should be. Maybe, hopefully it's just me.
  4. We were screaming about it here. One of our guys tried to save a loose ball and swatted it back in play but it clearly the ball was not in our possession. No excuses here though, we were outplayed
  5. Extremely disappointing. I saw one team with energy and a commitment to playing hard defensively. I saw another team with neither,
  6. Anything new on the injury front ?
  7. the game starts at six no time for sit down dinner black squirrel roadkill
  8. Seem to have extra time on my hands..... Nothing makes much sense At the sprawling Kent Campus Dude, where is my bong ?
  9. Posted this in the wrong thread. Sometimes I feel like a KSU dropout. Senderoff great coach the flashes are a great team said no one ever
  10. Senderoff great coach the flashes are a great team said no one ever
  11. Guys like LOONardi and Mel Kiper are like weathermen. They keep their jobs somehow despite being proven wrong all the time. I suppose they provide fodder for conversation but other than that I don't take stock in what they're selling.
  12. BTW good Dr, great pic, now a part of my permanent collection. Thanks
  13. I hate to say this because I am normally reserved and grounded but I can see us really taking it to them from the get-go tonight. I think a 14- 20 point win is more than possible. Before Pollard went down I thought K S U was really over achieving and would be a really, really tough out. They just have not been the same though since the OU game when he broke his foot. Needing OT to dispatch W Mich on their own floor is not an indicator of a team in good current form. As long as we hold our poise and keep Hall from really going off, Zips by 16
  14. Zips currently a 4 point road favorite, They have been a covering machine for about a month now.
  15. Good teams win when they don't always have their best stuff, This was an important one tonight, the kind of game that furthers the development of mental toughness.
  16. This guy has just impressed the Hell out of me this year. He's matured into the guy that every team needs to be successful. I know that he'd love to be a more vital part of the offense, who wouldn't, but he laces them up every night and does everything he's asked to do, like vital minutes he put in at the 5 spot tonight. He has accepted his role and his contributions to this team on both ends of the floor should not be overlooked because he has been a key component to our success.
  17. At the JAR these are now called poly-technical fouls
  18. Just read somewhere that Narduzzi truly believes that he'll be back in uniform and playing for the '16 season. Sure hope so.
  19. Count me in..... Good Guys 83 Bulls on Parade 60
  20. We lost by one, on the road, to a team that is now 17-8. Some of you guys really crack me up.
  21. While I'd love to see a good road thumping it's almost never that easy, how many of those were blowouts? I've been to a few of the games there and we had to work hard for them. We are coming off of two huge wins and some amount of letdown is possible, maybe even probable. Akron 71 BG 67
  22. Great crowd, great game, nice shirt. Happy camper here. Thoughts CMU is a well coached tough bunch. Not an ounce of quit in them. No home cooking tonight from the refs Big time bounce back game from Antino. Great to see him get his confidence back. Noah is as steady as they come. The Zips took great care of the ball. I didn't hear one person say: "man, we sure miss Carmello Bentencourt tonight" Nice to have a fresh legged freshman suddenly burst onto the scene and come into his own. Not sure we win the last two without Josh. Again, Kwan doesn't have to drop 15 to help us. he's turned into a great team player. I'll probably go to my grave never knowing why Pat didn't throw down that point blank O rebound he grabbed.
  23. Hit the 12 point spread right on the nose for the OU game so I'll offer this one up to prove that Tuesday's prediction was probably a fluke. Akron 85 CMU 74 We were the victims of home cooking at their place and as I recall they made 15-20 more FTs than we did. We are going inside more now so I have great confidence for this one. I may be more pumped for this one than I've been in quite a while. Midland Chip is right on, they are playing great ball right now but they have not been the same animal on the road. Love our chances to firmly assert ourselves as THE team to beat come March.
