Sticking to the opinion that I've held all season that Buffalo is the team to beat. I sure wouldn't bet on it though. Any other opinions or predictions out there?

Are MAC officials pretty bad ? Yes. Do MAC officials have it in for the Zips? No. Go to the hole, go to the line. It's really that simple. Even this guy figured it out:

Spencer is just bloody awful, he must be a graduate of the Jim Ferrari official's school. It's like he has no understanding of the game or human behavior for that matter .His greatest asset and true calling is making the other two guys he's working with him look like they are all world refs. How can a team with such immense talent, as I've been told, lose to lowly Miami twice? Oh, I've got it. Another coaching debacle by KD. It's not a fault of anybody. It's just been a year where virtually everything possible that could go wrong did go wrong. I'm probably the only one here that thinks this team did well this season given their youth and all the crap that's gone down recently. It happens to just about every program on occasion. I'm not about to be critical of anybody right now.

I was thinking the same thing then I looked at most of the rosters over the past ten years and found 2-3 guys on just about every edition that would be considered "the guy" on this team.

No doubt about it, we have to play differently in order to win. I think he's doing a hell of a job with the youth he has to work with. We can win, we can beat anybody in this conference on a given night. No matter what we try though, if we can not get any offense at all out of the 3 spot our destiny is pretty much sealed.

I always wonder how Buffalo listed their wings ? By the sauce?

No complaints here and I'm willing to eat some crow about Pat and Big Dog being out there together. I saw some really nice high / low stuff with them that worked. I thought that this was probably Big Dog's best all around game. As Skip just stated though, We can't win with our lack of offensive wing play. Jake was terrific on D but those two just too often can't buy one. I'm very pleased with the effort though, IMO we played twice as well and twice as hard as we did against Miami. I'm not without hope going forward. PS: that was about the best officiating crew that the MAC can give us. Maybe Hurley's constant barrage of BS to the officials works on some of them who want to avoid conflict. He can get away with that at home. On the road, not so much

This is why I have introduced legislation that all mothers should be banned from attending their children's sporting events. They just muck it all up for everybody. Good stuff Clark, you have been a fine addition to this board. Before I set somebody off, yes, that was tongue in cheek..........

You have an agenda, I get this. However, when you say this team has so much talent, you lose all credibility with me. Talent wise, I believe this is perhaps the weakest bunch we've had in the past ten years. How many games do you think a team is going to win when shooting 32% anyways ? We lost a MAC POY type player, we have two fresh 1 guards, we have two wings with zero consistency. And despite your opinion, I don't see the NBA in Forsythe's future either. Aren't you the guy that called for the two bigs to be out there together? How did that work out for you? Now you say Big Dog is a suspect D1 player. OK then..... Hey I'm pissed off too but lets make an attempt to keep it just a little bit real.

Miami beat BG at BG by 11 last out as well as Ohio by 11. They are a dangerous team

Buff closes on a 20-7 run. The bulls have the look of a team that plays their best with their backs against the wall. The standings may say so but I don't buy into that a bit. I don't want the Bulls on a run heading into Cleveland. They are better than BG and IMO, much better.

Reg and Jake are the very definition of high character kids. These are the type of guys that I enjoy watching grow over four seasons .

I actually had Miami in my MAC pickem contest picks so not at all surprised by the result there. In the end, BG's guard play will get them beat and quite possibly early on in the tourney. Don't sleep on Miami this weekend. If nothing else they have played very hard and have had a knack for hanging around. They are an improved lot that should be considered dangerous. What surprised me the most was how badly Buff beat up on EMU in their own building. This is a bizzaro year in the MAC...............
