Can't stand the dicks that point fingers when things go wrong. -

Still waiting for an intelligent, insightful post from you. Still hung up on Forsythe eh? -

Our defense has been good. Kent's has been smothering. That's the difference... So far. -

Been to several games at the Convo over the years. Love the building but the atmosphere is not now what it once was.

Akron Zips v Ball State Cardinals: MAC Semi Finals

With Ball's PG going down yesterday I believe we are in good shape here. I would be very surprised if he could pass the concussion tests after a brutal collision like that. We shot the ball horribly from 3 pt territory in the last match up, I believe it was around 20% No way we shoot it like that tonight. -
Thank God... I would have had a major spasm had Keene won the POY. Congrats Bid Dog and Keith.

Sad news about ZN.o member Go Zips

Yes sir. Now that I've seen his picture I have connected the dots. For sure, we were certainly aware of his presence when he was seated nearby. He was a true blue Zip fan all the way . -
Sad news about ZN.o member Go Zips

I didn't know him but that is not of any relevance. We are a true brotherhood here and the loss of any valued member stings quite a bit. He was solid. Prayers to his family -
Just staggered in back home after a great night. Thought it was one of the most physical MAC games I have seen in a long time and the Zips really toughed it out. The refs were pretty good. They couldn't call everything in a game like this or there would have been nobody left to play the last 5 minutes. Other observations... Big Dog got absolutely mauled all night long. Ivey, in particular, was terrific. His finest night as a Zip. Outstanding, spirited crowd and the Zip fans held their own. Utomi and Poke will do nothing but get better. The future is looking good. Thirsty Dog Old Leghumper can sneak up on a guy fast.

Miami @ Zips, 2/28/17- Senior Night

Well, if you want more, maybe move to Lexington or Durham where you get lots, lots more. The thing is though is that their fans are really cheering for the uniform and not the young men in that uniform. With the constant one, maybe two, and done kids the stars of the elite programs often leave early. Same with coaches always running to the next big paycheck. If that's your thing, you can have it. I'll take what I have here any day. My wife and I have been in contact with many past and present players and even some of their families through the years. More than a handful of Zip players have come to speak to and motivate the children who my wife teaches every day. If you could see the players interact with the kids you would be highly impressed. I love the fact that we have had four and sometimes five years to watch these players develop, both as players and, for the most, into fine young men. Maybe you think I'm full of crap and some of you may let me know it but I'm proud of what this program has accomplished over the years. This is a great mid major program. We should keep things in perspective and appreciate that. -

I'm wrong in simply picking the winner every freaking game. So if I pick BG then
-
Josh good to go tonight? Looked like he did a number on that ankle.
-
Phil was a treasure, and a really funny guy. I will never forget when we sat by the McKnights up at Bowling Green. Phil engaged and enraged the entire BG faithful with his views on the officials which evolved into a cross court shouting match. " Integrity of the game"
-
Winning games when not at your best. That is a trait of great teams.
-
Expecting a tight one. Danger, Will Robinson.
-
Yes, 91-90. Stress level high, should carry me right through to the Fed/ Nadal final at 3 am Oh yes, Kwan and Dog are indeed the men
-
Billy Turner, hands down. more of a 4 than a 5 but he was the man back in the day and made his living in the paint
-
Its a thing of beauty when the shots are dropping.
-
And another promo is born. "Depends night"
-
TDM was not on the floor a lot tonight but he's electric when he's out there. Rapidly becoming one of my favorite Zips. He's earning an increase in playing time.

Excellent points, could not agree more. Unlike our fine and heady young men, Eastern's guys are not a group exactly known for their high character.
-
Like the over, got it at 145 yesterday. Eastern is known to be a bit on the chippy side at times. This should be a spirited contest and officials may be forced into calling this one tight.
-
Eastern has as much individual talent as anybody in the MAC. Probably our biggest threat in Cleveland, we need to send a message Friday. Thompson vs Big Dog in the paint. Can't wait to see this one.
