Going into OT... One of the better MAC games that I've ever seen. Yes, ever.

Wierd, I upgraded to IE 11 and it will not recognize any entry what so ever on the sign in page. So my log in name is not reaching this board. No issues at all with my opera browser. I wonder if this could be caused by some sort of flash or java glitch /conflict with IE that exists within my computer. Talk to me you tech wizzards

I could not use IE to sign in my username. I use multiple browsers so no major issue here but a bit of a PITA.. Anybody have similar issues? If not I probably need to reinstall my version of IE

No problem here with that ..... Although AA took it to the next level, it wasn't that long ago that I don't remember being 20 years old. Man, I did a ton of stupid things too. A true product of the '70s

It's probably a good thing that this very mediocre team we face Sat is K E N T meaning that we won't, or shouldn't have a letdown against a team that is viewed by most to be an inferior opponent. Still, the F lushes started their season well and appeared to be a serious East contender until their woes began. They must shoot well to play well. They are pretty soft inside so our game plan should be obvious to all. Can't assume anything though, they want this one bad and they did give the Spacely Sprockets all they wanted in Toledo before Mr. Slate devised a winning strategy. Since that game Steve Hawkins has returned to Western.

I agree, he does have some good moves.. He needs to fight the temptation to slide the trailing foot to avoid walking calls but all in all he's pretty solid when he gets it on the block

That makes a lot more sense though I do expect the West to cut into that margin a bit before crossover play concludes.

I was a tad surprised by that number. A huge turnaround when you consider that by my count the East went 24-12 vs the West last season. I'm guessing that the east enjoyed similar results going back much further than that season as well.

There was much talk about the MAC being better this year and I suppose overall that it is. It seems though that almost all of this improvement has come in the west. Almost top to bottom the west is vastly tougher than it has been in many a moon. Even the bottom feeders like Ball and NIU have been competing. C Mich appears to be the only team over there that has not made at least a modest move forward. An argument can be made that the East is actually weaker and I buy into that. Can't has been on a giant free fall after a promising start. Us and OU have been inconsistent. Miami has improved but only marginally. BG will be BG until Louie gets fired. They seem to be exactly the same, year after year. Keith has been saying for years that very little separates the top from the bottom in this conference. I never really bought into that but this year he's spot on. Anybody can be beat on any given night in this seasons MAC

And hitting shots. When Kretzer or McAdams get off, we win and seem to win big.

I have started two game threads this season which produced our two best games. Ohio and EMU. So while the guys deserve some credit for tonights effort we all know the game was actually won long before the tip by none other than your very own Hip Damn Zip. Yes that rhymes .... Whoooooo

Gosh... The game is so much more fun when you hit your shots. We punched in the mouth early and they dug a hole from which they could not escape. One of our better efforts. Reminded me of the last Ohio game last season when Kretzer had it going. Order has been restored................. for now.

As far as RPI sheets and the like, some guys love stats and numbers in general and some guys don't. Count me into the second group. I'm really happy that we have smart fellows like Dave in here to break it all down for us because when I try to make some sense of it all I am like:

Funny stuff, I like it. The Zips took some quick money at my offshore. Now Eastern -4 which is more in line with where it should be. They are not exactly built to blow people out. They like to tough it out, much like we do.

To be honest I was too. I thought maybe Eastern -2 or so. I do believe that they have earned the right to be favored but that number seems high.
