Just saying. Akron is a state school. If some of the facility will be available to all students and faculty to help them recreate and stay healthy, the state has kicked in before (and All the folks watching the monster trucks want real seats).

If the university administrators are any good the state will be kicking in a considerable share, plus a couple of million from private sources for naming rights.

They didn't have such a facility in place until they moved out of their 2500 seat gym and built the 10,000 seat (for basketball) multi-purpose facility. A bunch of the money came from naming rights and the state of Ohio. Well worth it just as it would be for Akron.

Same is true on Dancing with the Stars; although on one episode last season they did threesomes. It was kind of weird.

Really, I don't recall an arena football or indoor soccer game at the Nut House, but if there was you can bet the school made a profit on the deal. Wright State stopped hosting hockey games because the minor league hockey team that rented the facility folded. That doesn't mean renting to them didn't make financial sense for the school. They still do pretty good renting the place out for concerts, monster trucks and off road motorcycle events, and Jehovah's Witnesses love fests. All this took away so much from the basketball team that they got a million dollar practice facility built right next to the Nutter Center.

Have you looked at the overall record of MAC baseball teams? So far there are two (2) teams in the entire conference with a winning record. They are a combined 3 games over .500. Zips are about 3-16.

OK, I guess it was your bad. Following your suggestion, I diagrammed each sentence in your post. I note that neither the noun "greed" nor any derivative of "greed" appears in any of the sentences. From the tone of your post one can deduce that you hold the subjects of most of your sentences in low regard, but one cannot definitively conclude that they are greedy. One could just as correctly (or incorrectly) conclude that there is some other derogatory aspect associated with the subjects; e.g., that they are stupid. In any event, your post makes it clear that the problem is money. Take away the money and they have little reason to be greedy. GO ZIPS
